Sundays look so different now. For so many years, they meant stadiums and nerves and chaos. My schedule revolved around kickoffs and everything that came with that world. And while that season was amazing to experience, I look around now and can’t help but feel overwhelmed by how sweet this stage is too.

The roar of the crowd has been replaced by the roar of my kids. The pressure of game day has been replaced with pancakes. It’s quieter, calmer, exactly what I prayed for.

This season looks nothing like the last, but it’s proof that God’s timing is perfect and that every chapter has its own kind of beauty. I’m so thankful to be right here, right now ❤️

We’re just two millennials that are all about adding character to a home, not stripping it away. Every renovation is an opportunity to bring out the true personality of a space. We mix timeless elements with modern touches to create spaces that feel like you and stay true to the home 🤍 taken in Richmond, Virginia by @tiff_compton

I look at these pictures and think about how many different versions of our family have existed in just a few years.

For so long, life was about whatever came next. The next team, the next season, the next move. And somewhere along the way, all the things we used to talk about wanting actually became our everyday life.

Between two kids growing so fast and a puppy that can’t lose his sharp baby teeth fast enough, our house is never quiet. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

There will be so many more versions of us but I just know I’ll look back on this one and wish I could spend one more day here 🥹
