There’s a side of motherhood we don’t always see.

Behind the smiles, the newborn photos and the “congratulations” is a woman adjusting to a completely new life—often while recovering, exhausted, overwhelmed and trying to figure it all out.

And sometimes, she doesn’t need another person telling her what to do.

She needs someone to show up and help.

This series is for new mums, husbands, families, friends, and everyone who wants to understand how to support a woman in those tender early days.

If you’ve been following me for a while, thank you for being here.
And if you’re new, welcome.

Over the years, a lot has changed. I’ve grown, I’ve become a wife, a mum, and I’ve discovered a purpose that has completely transformed the direction of my life.

So I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself.

My name is Ruth.

I’m a wife, a mum, and an advocate for better postpartum care and wellness for new mums.

I’m passionate about helping the world see, support, and celebrate new mums better because I believe when a baby is born, a mother is born too—and she deserves to be cared for, celebrated, and supported.

I’m also the founder of New Mum Haven, where we’re on a mission to care for mothers from hospital to home, and Treasure by New Mum Haven, where we thoughtfully curate meaningful gifts that remind mums they are deeply loved and appreciated.

But beyond everything I do, my greatest desire is to reflect Christ through His love, compassion, grace, and service. I pray that this page points people to Him—not just through my words, but through the way I live and serve others.
