I have really struggled with sewing this week.
I’ve had sew really early and then come back to it really late, the heat has been too much in the day in my little sewing box room.

I love sitting at my machine stitching away listening to a audiobook or podcast but not this week.

Strawberry Season 🍓

Personalised Garland

This order was really fun to make.
The request was a garland for a new baby Lucas. Each motif had to start with the letter to spell out Lucas so we went with
Leaves
Uranus
Carrot
Anchor
Star
And the name embroidered onto a carrot.

A random mix of “things” that looked great together. I’d love to do another name garland like this.

🐝 I’m Back and the shop is open 🐝

We had a wonderful Easter down in Sydney visiting family. I’ve never been to Australia before and had the best time but wow that jet lag is intense!

The shop is back open and ready for orders.

I made this new garland before Easter. A returning customer discussed that they wanted bees and flowers and this is what I came up with. The little hearts of the bees wings is my fave!

Framed floating hearts 💕

A new piece from me.

Crafted from William Morris and Liberty fabric and hand embellished with stitch detail, beading, embroidery and gold leaf.

I made 4 of these heart frames and one has sold so there are 3 now available, each uniquely crafted so may look different from the exact one here.
