Day One was the first of 100 days that my dad would snowboard every year. This was just one of the ways that he remained connected to the sport. We now honor that tradition by hosting a Day One event every year in Chile, where he laid down his first turns for the season.

I cannot express in words how wonderful this event is. A full weekend of everything my dad loved: snowboarding, friends, dancing, nature and having as much fun as possible at every turn. I am beyond grateful for the way we honor my dad and his legacy.

Huge thank you to all the amazing people that put this thing on and help shape the Chilean snowboard community.

My dad learned early on that the riders are the ones who drive snowboarding forward. Pushing boundaries of the sport and product, they have always helped shape what Burton is and where it goes.

The Rider Round Table is the epitome of that belief. Bringing riders and employees together to listen, learn and challenge each other to keep pushing snowboarding forward.

So much has changed, but seeing this tradition continue and evolve makes me feel incredibly grateful. Thank you to all the riders who continue to give their ideas, perspective and passion to Burton, and to all the Burton employees who listen and put those ideas into action.

It means a lot to see my dad’s legacy carried forward in such a beautiful way 💙

Its been a while since my last Fall Bash. I took a few off due to mental health issues and the last two I missed because I was afraid to go sober... But I cannot express the amount of FUN had and LOVE felt from every individual there. Truly grateful to have a community that embraces each other as we are.
