WOW!house 2026 is over for another year. Gratitude to everyone who helped bring the Turnell & Gigon Group drawing room to life.

@albionord, for a collaboration built on shared values. @barrbuild, for the skill and dedication brought to the build. fillingspaces, @passementeries_idf , @timpagecarpets, @jomalonelondon, @clarencehousetextiles , @raoultextiles , @galbraithandpaul , @edmond_petit , @decortexfirenze and @parislapresmidi — the room was a reflection of what each of these makers produces at their best.

The Phulkari is a bespoke Afghan handwoven rug, created exclusively for WOW!house 2026 in close collaboration with Albion Nord.

Made from Ghazi wool, each panel was individually hand sewn by the skilled Tim Page Carpets warehouse team. No two panels are the same, each one bringing its own character to the composition, with some featuring plain weave that allows the natural texture and tone of the wool to speak for itself, and others adorned with embroidered designs that add depth and visual interest.

Together they form an abstract patchwork that is as richly tactile as it is considered, a true one-of-a-kind piece embodying the room’s ethos of traditional craftsmanship meeting contemporary design.

Beneath the bespoke Afghan weave rug in the WOW!house drawing room lies the foundation of the floor: Claremont Natural, a wall-to-wall carpet fitted and installed by the Tim Page Carpets team.

A room of this quality demands consideration at every level, including underfoot. Claremont Natural was chosen for the warmth and quiet character it brings to the space, working in complete harmony with the rug above it.

Introducing Japonais:

A new collection of Persian knotted rugs in an all velvet cut pile, made in wool and in a wool and silk blend. The six designs are drawn from classical Japanese sources, taking both their names and their imagery from decorative carvings found on temple and palace walls.

Bushi takes its name and pattern from samurai heraldry, Inperiau from imperial lattice work, Hane from feather motifs, Kumo from drifting clouds, Hou-ou from a pair of phoenix set within ornamental roundels, and Kigiku from the chrysanthemum of the imperial court. Rather than working in blocks of colour, each design is drawn as a single fine outline set on a neutral ground, giving the collection a graphic, linear quality quite distinct from a traditional patterned rug.

The velvet pile is knotted entirely by hand, giving a smooth, even surface that holds the detail of each design with real clarity.

Available in six designs and made to order in any size or colourway.

Crackle features an organic coral motif, hand tufted to give it a beautiful richness and depth. It is shown here in the colourway Lichen, a deep forest green, and is also available in the colourway Grapefruit.⁠

Introducing: Moiré ⁠

Moiré takes its name from the French word for watered silk, and its pattern from the same rippling, light catching effect: a subtle shift in tone across the surface rather than a fixed motif.⁠
⁠
The design has been used as a ground for hundreds of years, appearing in fabrics and wallpapers, including in Turnell & Gigon's own archive, and Tim Page Carpets now brings it to the floor as a rug for the first time.⁠
⁠
Made in wool or in silk depending on the colourway, and available in eight colourways, Moiré works as a genuinely versatile ground, quiet enough to sit beneath a busier scheme but with enough movement to avoid feeling flat. It is designed to sit particularly well alongside Turnell & Gigon's own moiré fabrics, threading the two brands together in a single room.⁠

INTRODUCING: ROUND AND ROUND

Round and Round is a new collection of six designs built entirely around the circle, woven in a thick, textural 100% wool flatweave using a sumac technique, the same weave used for the Tuareg collection but worked here in wool rather than jute. Retro in feel, the collection draws on archive circular motifs and reworks them into a set of fun, graphic patterns intended to bring colour and movement to a room.

Colourways lean toward softer, pastel tones that balance the strength of the pattern, alongside a small number of deeper options including a rich chocolate brown.

Round and Round is designed as a statement piece to build a scheme around, rather than a plain ground to sit beneath one, and works particularly well in a child’s bedroom, though it is just as at home used elsewhere in the house.

Available as rugs, wall to wall carpet or runners. Made to order in any size or colourway.
