So you’ve got your samples… Now what?

Nothing will gaslight you more than a paint colour 😆 … So keep these notes in mind as you look at your samples within your own space!

Once you realise it’s all about contrast and how the colour feels relative to something else, it all starts to feel a bit easier.

And if it all feels too overwhelming… Reduce the colours you’re looking at so that it’s easier to see what you are drawn to 🤗

Got questions…. Let me know 👇

ULTIMATE GLOW UP INCOMING ✨

Well, it’s safe to say we’ve been dreaming of painting this beauty since the day she arrived! 🤍 But with a vintage van, there were plenty of other jobs to tick off before we could finally get to the fun part....

Four days of hard work, and they were VERY well spent! 😍🌿

What do you think of her new look?!

We used Paper Plane paired with a custom soft sage green from @tint.paint ✨

And we might be a little bit in love! 🤍🚐

Now onto installing the Windows.....

Ol’ Blue Eyes 🩵 + Them Apples ❤️ + So Fresh and So Clean 🤍

Red and blue is such a fun colour combo! Usually more heavy on the blue with a pop of red is the best way to apply it.

Check out our latest post with @casa.desanctis to see just how fun it can be 👇

It somehow feels both nostalgic and modern AND don’t over think it because it works with all shades too.

Anyhoo, give it a try, feel the joy!

Red + Blue will always be a fave of ours 🥰 by @tint.paint

You have been wanting this for ages and because I wanted it to be perfect I have been holding off sharing but I have since realised that a) I probably won’t finish it this year and b) we all love seeing a progress story so here is mine! I still want to add art and sconces and shelving and hooks but here is what I have achieved so far. The kids absolutely LOVE it and that’s all that really matters (even though in my head I feel like maybe I went too bold!?). Anyway hope you love what I have created so far.
Bunk is @houseoforange and custom painted in @tint.paint 🍎🍎🍎
Wallpaper is custom @pickawall - I designed this along with the team and absolutely love how it turned out
Bedding is @ikea_australia (so hard to find a one for each child that still matched the room decor but think I nailed it with these)

Open to rug suggestions, let me know if you’ve seen any that will work for this space!

Being gaslit by your paint sample? Here’s what’s actually happening with our colour Inner Self...

Watch this exact same paint swatch flip personalities as I move it around our office.

In one spot it looks darker and moodier because of the bright white wall next to it (hello, contrast!).

In another spot it suddenly feels lighter and softer because it’s surrounded by similar-depth tiles, and in a colour drenched space.

Layer on top different lighting and you’ve got a colour that can feel completely different depending on where you put it.

That’s exactly why sampling in your own home is our #1 paint tip 🥇

Start with some samples and look at your colour against what else will be in the room, (ideally in the room you will use it in)… And then you will see how the colour really feels in your space.

Bubble Bath — a classic blue paint colour. Not too warm, not too bold. Perfect for drenching your space and creating a cozy yet fresh vibe.

Imen from @hamptonsdiaries is the queen of adding colour in such a sophisticated way ✨

Follow her lead and just colour drench the whole space (not only is the painting job way easier with less cutting in) but the feeling you acheive is so calming!

The moment we’ve all been waiting for… ✨

It’s time to give the inside of our caravan a serious glow-up, and we honestly can’t even begin to tell you how excited we were for this!

We used Paper Plane by @tint.paint — low-tox, Australian-made, and honestly some of the most beautiful, high-quality paint we’ve ever used 🤍

What do you think of the transformation? 🤍🫶✨️
