When we met some of our women (widows) in Nigeria, the gratitude they showed us was overwhelming.

There were tears, songs, hands held for far longer than a handshake. The women said “Thank you for not forgetting us.”

Many of them have carried grief, responsibility and hardship alone for years, and yet they welcomed us with joy.

To our partners: thank you. Your giving is the reason a widow can feed her children, start a small business, and know that someone sees her.

You may never hear her voice in person, but I want you to see how much they are thriving with your support.

If you need peace today, please remember that you can turn to the Prince of Peace.

Life has a way of placing demands on us that leave our minds overwhelmed. Sometimes, we’re so busy trying to figure everything out that we forget we were never meant to carry everything in our own strength.

From a psychological perspective, peace is not necessarily the absence of problems, but the ability to remain grounded even when life feels uncertain.

When we slow down, regulate our emotions and stop trying to control everything around us, we create room for our minds and bodies to find rest.

As believers, we have an even greater assurance: our peace is not dependent on our circumstances; it’s found in a Person. His name is Jesus.

Isaiah 9:6 calls Him the Prince of Peace and in John 14:27, Jesus says:

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.”

What a beautiful promise!

It’s the assurance that, even in the midst of uncertainty, we’re not alone.

So, if your heart feels heavy today, take a moment to be still and release the things you cannot control into God’s hands. Allow His Word to anchor your heart.

Today, may you experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding (Phil 4:7).

May the Prince of Peace quiet your anxious thoughts, strengthen your heart and remind you that you’re held by a God who neither sleeps nor slumbers.

In case you’ve forgotten…

•Your relationship with God matters.
•Your peace of mind matters.
•Your health matters.
•The people you love matter.
•The time you spend with your loved one’s is precious.
•Your character is more important than your reputation.
•Kindness is never wasted.
•Forgiveness brings freedom.
•Gratitude changes your perspective.
•The life you are living today is a gift.

Please, don’t become so occupied with building a life that you forget to actually live it.

Don’t wait until you have more money, more time or fewer responsibilities before you appreciate the blessings you already have.

Life isn’t about what you accumulate, but about who you become, how you treat others and the difference you make along the way.

May God help us to keep our hearts focused on what truly matters and give us the wisdom to recognise the blessings we sometimes take for granted.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36

Pause for a moment today. Are you giving your attention to what matters most?

May this be your gentle reminder.

What are you holding on to that God may be asking you to release into someone else’s hands?

Sometimes, what we’re holding on to is the very thing someone else has been praying for.

It could be your time, your resources, your knowledge, your connections, your encouragement, or simply something you no longer need but someone else does.

The Word reminds us in Luke 6:38: “Give, and it will be given to you.”

The principle of sowing and reaping reminds us that our acts of generosity are never meaningless.

When we give with a sincere heart, we sow seeds that can produce a harvest in ways we may not immediately see or fully understand.

You cannot out-give God. He is not indebted to us, but He is faithful to His Word.
Hebrews 6:10 assures us that God doesn’t overlook our work and the love we demonstrate by serving others.

So, what are you holding on to today?

Perhaps it’s time to let it go. Not out of obligation, but out of love. Not because you have an abundance, but because you recognise that what’s in your hands could be an answer to someone else’s prayer.

Remember, you’re blessed to be a blessing.

Prayer: Father, give me a generous heart. Help me recognise the opportunities You place before me to bless others. Remove the fear of lack, the grip of selfishness, and the reluctance to release what could meet another person’s need. Teach me to give with wisdom, love and a willing heart, trusting You as my ultimate source. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflection: What do you have in your hands today that could become a blessing in someone else’s life?

What do you do when your housing situation is uncertain and nothing you’ve planned seems to hold? In ep.9 of The Ministry Experience (Live on YouTube now), I open up about one of the most significant seasons of my life.

A time that tested everything I believed, and the moment I chose to stop leaning on my own understanding and listen to the Holy Spirit.

Obedience led to a property, and it didn’t stop there; that one step of faith opened the door to blessing after blessing I could never have arranged on my own.

If you’re facing a situation right now that feels bigger than you, whether it’s your home, your finances, your family or a decision you can’t make sense of, this testimony is for you.

Let it remind you that the God who spoke to me is still speaking now, and when you follow where He leads, He always provides.

Share this with someone who’s waiting on God for a breakthrough.

The borehole was only the beginning.

After we left the village with clean water finally flowing, we carried on to Lusaka, because the needs of the people didn’t stop and neither did we.

We sat with and prayed for the women in prison and reminded them that they haven’t been forgotten.

We also spent some time at the University Teaching Hospital’s Maternity Ward.

Meeting the new mums who have sick babies, from hydrocephalus, spina bifida to jaundice. It was an emotional experience.

Some of these ladies were as young as 15 and they are going through so much at one of the most tender moments of their lives.

Later on we prayed with women who stay in the hospital Mother’s shelter because their babies are in ICU. We met with offenders with mental health problems and some Lifeaid beneficiaries.

All in all, the trip was a success and to our partners, this is what your giving looks like.

It isn’t a figure on a spreadsheet; it’s a mother who feels seen, a family that’s being cared for, a woman who knows somebody showed up for her. Every picture in this post exists because of you.

Thank you, because you’re changing lives, and we wanted you to see it with your own eyes.

Phase 2 of the borehole project in Katokamema is now officially complete and this village in Zambia now has easy access to clean running water.

Clean, safe water now flows in the heart of the village, which means fewer long walks to fetch it, fewer children falling ill from it and more time for school, work and family.

Swipe through to see it for yourself. We’ll never forget this experience and the impact you have made to the lives of so many.

To our partners, thank you for believing in this project and backing it with your generosity.

To everyone who has donated, shared our posts, kept us in your prayers, cheered us on and sent your good wishes, this is your win too.

You didn’t just support a project, you changed daily life for an entire community and for this we’re so grateful.

Stepping Out in Faith and Doing the Works Jesus Did in Your Own Sphere:

What if the thing God’s called you to do feels too big, and you don’t have the money, the team or the full picture yet?

In Ep 7, I share how I stepped out in faith to start LifeAid, a charity supporting widows and orphans, with no funding and no guarantees, only trust in God.

Today, LifeAid is global, and God has provided partners to serve widows and orphans in Zambia, India, Thailand, Bulgaria, Kenya and Nigeria, to name a few.

It all began with one act of obedience, and that’s exactly why this message matters for you.

Whether God has placed you in business, ministry, the marketplace, your home or your community, you’re called to do the works that Jesus did in your own sphere of influence (John 14:12).

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. You need to trust Him, take the first step, and let Him provide what you can’t.

Highlight:
〰️Why stepping out in faith comes before the provision
〰️How to move forward when you don’t have the money, resources or roadmap
〰️God brings the right people and partners once you obey

If you’ve been sitting on a calling because you’re waiting to feel ready, let this be your sign to begin.

Share this with someone who needs to step out in faith.

I watched Death of the Pastor’s Wife as a counsellor and a pastor’s wife, and I couldn’t switch either of them off.

Here’s what I want to highlight:

Control doesn’t always look like control. It can sound like concern, like spiritual authority, like “I’m only protecting you.” When it’s wrapped in scripture and stands behind a pulpit, it becomes even harder to name, for the woman living it and for the people around her.

As a counsellor, I’ve sat with women who were quietly losing themselves inside their marriages, their homes and their communities long before anyone noticed.

As a pastor’s wife, I know the pressure to keep smiling, keep serving and keep the image intact.

The warning signs can be subtle, but they’re always there and the church needs to be more sensitive to identifying when there’s a problem.

We need to build churches/ communities and homes where a woman can say “I’m not okay” and be believed.

A gentle note: this documentary deals with abuse and s*icide, so please look after your heart if you watch it.

If you’re struggling, or you recognise something of your own story, please speak to someone you trust. In the UK, Samaritans are on 116 123 and the National Domestic Abuse Helpline is on 0808 2000 247, both are free.

In addition, a group of women in ministry/ women leaders meet together to simply talk in a safe space.

There comes a point when you realise that the call of God upon your life isn’t something you can keep putting on the back burner.

It requires your willingness to surrender, trust Him and take that step of faith, even when you don’t have all the answers.

Sometimes, the greatest obstacle to yielding isn’t a lack of faith, but the internal struggles we carry: fear of failure, the need for control, feelings of inadequacy or the weight of other people’s expectations.

From a psychological perspective, surrender can mean learning to recognise these fears without allowing them to dictate your decisions.

It’s about becoming aware of what holds you back, processing those emotions and making room for the courage to move forward.

Yielding to God doesn’t mean you won’t feel afraid. It means choosing to trust Him even when you do.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you say yes to God. Sometimes, obedience begins with a simple, willing heart.

“Here am I; send me.” -Isaiah 6:8

What has God been asking you to surrender so you can fully embrace His call upon your life?
