POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hi all! I wanted to share a bit more about myself! I’m Kelsey and I do a whole lot of things: I’m a mom, a wife, a designer, educator, an illustrator, maker and now adding vintage reseller. I’m having a lot of fun with all of it! 🤗✨

Just added this lovely blue and white chinoiserie wall pocket vase with plum blossom pattern to my shop! I was pretty excited to find this piece the other day and couldn’t wait to get it up in my shop. Mounting hole on the back. ✨🤗✨

Both these Mexican punched tin wall art pieces sold this week! I was surprised that the most colorful one (not pictured) is still left - so the more natural tin tones are winning the week. ✨✨

The sacred heart piece is a nicho for keepsakes and the angel is a mirror - both very lovely pieces with great textures stamped into the tin.

The sacred heart nicho was also my most favorited item to date on Etsy and racked up favorites quickly. I like watching the favorites and trying to predict when items will sell. I even mentioned something to my husband this morning and it must have sold shortly after I noted its popularity.

Thank you to my buyers, I’m glad these pieces are going to good homes!

Slowly curating this area in our house with old and recent finds ✨ I love adding items to a gallery wall over time.

90s Romeo and Juliet vibes for your wall ✨❤️ Picked this up today along with a few other Mexican hand made metal wall pieces. This is the most colorful of the bunch I’ll be posting this week and just went up in my shop. $44 and free 📦. Hanging mechanism is intact.

Gotta admit I’m keeping one of the pieces for myself too - a gallery wall always has a spot!

I get the fairy lamp craze, but check out this metal shaded candlestick! I love the punched stars. Probably keeping for myself at the moment as I collect vintage candlesticks (and serving ware) for an annual solstice party I throw. This might make a perfect yule lamp this year!

Could also show up in a booth when I get one! It’s too large to ship, I think!

What I’m grabbing at estate sales! I went to an estate sale on Saturday and it was half off day. Some of this I wouldn’t have grabbed if it wasn’t half off (but I may have carried around for a while 😂). I love half off day!

I love going to estate sales on the first day, but sometimes there is magic in finding things even a day or two after others have looked. I’m always so amazed at the abundance, even after a hundred people have already looked.

I’ve also been honing in on my style, as I’ve been doing this for about 2 months now and I’m learning about what I want to grab (because I love it) vs. what I know others might also grab - I love that everyone has a different style when it comes to reselling. My husband even said he tends to recognize things he thinks I will like; so it’s identifiable. I think when I started I was grabbing more just because I thought it was sellable and now I’m finding items with more intent. I know this comes with time. Also noting what is selling in my shop has been helpful as a guide.

I’m hoping to open a booth soon as well, so some items I’m grabbing for that.

Finally, I think estate sales are the best places to grab records - I used to find them all time at the thrifts (like 10 years ago), but now it seems like it’s mostly Ray Coniff and Andy Williams these days 😂 Hoping to have these at my booth, but I grab some for myself too!

PS: plants are always a steal too!
