In fourth grade I won the Endeavour Award, which I sum up as “she tries, we like her, but she’s not a genius”. If I gave any other sentient creature this award it would be my sweet Ollie, who ran full-speed up to that dog beach in the sky two weeks ago. He was a wild one. Kicked out of doggy day care for jumping the fence, booted from obedience training after he jumped a twelve foot fence to get back to me, but both our skills really peaked when we were on the Cesar Milan Better Human Better Dog series. Cesar made me stand outside of his dog park (cameras rolling) while he took Ollie inside to socialise him with his four-legged menagerie. I had my misgivings. The second Cesar clipped off Ollie’s lead he ran full-throttle to the fence, sailing over it and landing in my outstretched arms. It was like Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey in the final dance number of Dirty Dancing. All I heard Cesar say was, “I have never seen a dog do that, that is terrible.” Ollie loved me something fierce, and happily let me drag him across continents, through crowded parades, and into one million coffee shops. I miss my croissant-sharing buddy and all his quirks and, sweet boy, I would like to make you the forever winner of the Endeavour Award. ❤️⭐️🏆 taken in Ranelagh, Dublin 6 by @tinywonderful

A brief sojourn in Bern. The town where Toblerone was invented, Einstein lived in a flat with a solid colour story, people walk very slowly, iced coffees come with a slice or a orange rind, Unesco buildings offer excellent shade, pretty public street fountains spurt fresh drinking water and I found the shop of my dreams. taken in Bern, Switzerland by @tinywonderful

Rome. Where I can eat a whole pizza in one go, there is beauty at every turn, where I would totally drive a tiny Smart car, where priests are as everyday as weary tourists, where you queue for a gelato behind a nun, where people burst into tears at a distant sighting of the Pope, where the Trevi fountain is swamped by influencers doing impromptu photo shoots, where boutiques are petite and dreamy, where all the vintage Levi’s are found, where modern sits happily next to ancient and where the coffee is always the best. ❤️#romanholiday #gelatoeveryday #somuchcheese #tightpants #worthit by @tinywonderful
