I gave two AIs the same footage and the same brief. Then I let them edit.

Top is GPT 6 Astra. Bottom is Claude Opus 5.5. I didn’t even film this one. I recorded my voice and HeyGen made the video of me. Look closely and you’ll catch a few AI wobbles in the footage too.

xAI launched Grok Bot, so I tried it.

I built three bots and put them in one group chat. By 9am they'd done their work and sent me updates on what to do.

Comment BOT and I'll send you my setup guide, 9am routine included.

Grok Bot launched in beta on 11 August 2026 and comes with paid SuperGrok and Cursor plans. It does a lot of what Claude Cowork does, so if you already pay for Grok, it's worth a try.

It’s called custom instructions: one short note about who you are and how you like things done. Write it once and paste the same note into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot.

So the AI your company approved is Copilot. And you've still got ChatGPT
open for work. I get this, I see it every week.

Your prompts aren't the problem. Context is.

ChatGPT has read every book ever written. It has never read one email of
yours.

Copilot is already in your emails, files, Excel and Teams through a
layer called Work IQ.

And that tab you sneak off to? GPT is already in there. So is Claude.

Worth knowing: most of this is switched on by your admin, not by you. If
your model picker looks nothing like mine, you need someone with the AI
Administrator role to enable it. Five minute conversation.

Then ask it what only your job would know:

"What did I agree to in last week's meetings that I still haven't done?"

Two features in two months, and one AI skill I keep coming back to.

In July, The AI Journal ran my piece on AI in the events industry, and why the real shift is happening behind the scenes, not on stage. This week, Little Black Book interviewed me for their AI Spy series, in front of about 320,000 readers, about how we actually use AI at work at Nteractive.

Here’s the bit I’d want you to take away, whatever your job is:

The people who get the most out of AI this year won’t be the ones with the best prompts. Prompt engineering is not the skill. They’ll be the ones who can describe what they actually do. Where the decisions sit. What finished looks like. Which bits still need a human.

Most of us are brilliant at our jobs and can’t explain them. That gap is the real bottleneck for using AI at work now.

Less building. More judgement.

Try this week: pick one task you repeat, and write down how you actually do it, step by step, exceptions included. That one page is worth more than any prompt you’ll ever write.
