Do you plan your year quarterly… or by trimester?

In my business when I work with clients I spend a lot of time thinking in quarters - goals, priorities, financials, KPIs… all the things. 😊

But for my own life and planning my business, I actually like to plan in 4-month trimesters:

🍂 Fall: September–December
✨ New Year: January–April
☀️ Summer: May–August

I’ve planned this way for a while now and I really love the rhythm of it.

I LOVE being able to sit down and look at the next four months as a whole. What do I want to accomplish? What’s already on the calendar? What do I want to make time for? And honestly… what do I not have room for right now?

This week I’m getting ready to plan out my Fall Trimester — September through December — and I’m SO excited! 🍂

Being a mom to these two incredible men is my greatest blessing. This morning I am taking a little extra time to reflect on how proud I am of them.

The memories of them playing in our backyard, taking them to school, helping with homework, tucking them into bed at night, watching them grow up. I treasure each and every memory.

My wish for all moms is to remember to slow down, be present and enjoy each moment. We hug our children tight, they cling to us and then there comes a time that we need to let go and let them fly. They may not need you as much but you will always be their mom. ❤️
