Our last stop in Italy was Venice 🇮🇹 What an absolutely fascinating city!

It’s one of those places you almost have to see to believe. A city built on water more than 1,500 years ago, with centuries-old buildings, winding canals, beautiful bridges, and so much history. The fact that Venice even exists, let alone HOW they built it so long ago, is mind-blowing!

We spent our days wandering the narrow streets, getting lost (more than once 😂), taking in the sights, and eating our way through the city!

We took an amazing food tour and discovered the bacari (traditional Venetian wine bars), where locals gather for wine and cicchetti (small Venetian bites). We even visited one with roots dating back to the 1400s! 🤯 Imagine sitting somewhere people have been gathering for food, wine, and conversation for centuries! Of course, we enjoyed plenty of gelato and experienced the iconic gondola ride through the canals. 🛶

I don’t think I truly understood what it meant to LIVE life until Randy started showing me. ❤️ And after losing my mom when she was just a couple of years older than I am now, I realized how precious life is and how quickly it can change.

But creating the life we dreamed of didn’t happen overnight. It’s taken years of hard work, sacrifices, dedication, teamwork, and determination to get here. And that makes moments like these even more meaningful.

Because life is meant to be LIVED. To make memories, take trips, experience new things, and embrace every opportunity to enjoy this beautiful life God has given us.

At the end of the day, it’s not the things we accumulate that matter. It’s the memories we make and the people we make them with. ❤️

We’ve worked hard to create a life we don’t need a vacation from, and I’m so grateful we get to experience it together.

18. 🥹❤️

How is it even possible that my baby boy is EIGHTEEN today?!

18 years ago, Brody came into this world and changed absolutely everything about mine. I had no idea then just how much this little boy would teach me about life, love, faith, strength, joy, and what really matters.

He has a way of making people feel seen. He loves BIG, makes friends everywhere he goes, and has a personality that is completely his own. He has taught me that there is so much beauty in being exactly who God created you to be.

And this past year especially, I’ve watched him grow up right in front of me. He got his first job, went away without any support for the first time, has continued becoming more independent, and is dreaming about what comes next for his life.

Brody, being your mom is one of the greatest privileges of my entire life. I hope you always know how deeply you are loved, how incredibly proud we are of you, and how much better this world is because you are in it.

There are SO many adventures still ahead of you, and I cannot wait to have a front-row seat for every single one of them.

This Is My Cousin Kaylee Lopata. She has put her heart and soul into dancing and as her cousin I will be here for her forever! A while ago I saw dancing videos etc she’s a great dancer! She doesn’t know but I know she’s a hard worker, brings joy to everyone, etc I could go on and on for hours. Kaylee, I just want to let you know that you are loved by the family and especially me by @toades22

It’s hard to put last night into words ❤️

I love the way my kids are getting to experience their faith—the music, the community, the freedom to worship, and a relationship with Jesus that feels so alive and personal.

17,000 people gathered together, singing, praising and worshiping Jesus. 🙌🏻 There was something so powerful about looking around and seeing thousands of people—young and old—with their hands raised, singing the same words together.

As a mom, watching my kids standing there singing and worshiping Jesus among 17,000 people was one of those moments I just wanted to freeze in time.
