Everyone has something in their hand.
Some, have trivialized it because of how familiar it looks to them. Others sincerely do not know what it is, maybe because they have quite a lot of talents and they are good at a lot of things.
Others need help to recognize and utilize their gift.

Whatever place you fall into, I want you to know that you’re special and there’s something special in your hand and within you.
Take your eyes and your mind away from the naysayers or those that have criticized the courage out of you.
What you have been called to do is valid, important and needed.

I want you to see yourself with new lenses tonight; you’re wonderfully and beautifully and uniquely made and blessed.
God doesn’t do mediocre, God doesn’t do small things, God doesn’t waste anything… If He gave you that thing, it’s because He knows you’re the best person for it.. He Trusts You!🫂

I don’t care who has said negative things to or about you or about what you can become. As long as you don’t accept the negative verdict of human beings ( whether they are family, friends, mentors, colleagues, haters, enemies, people in authority over you etc.. I don’t care!)- what you don’t accept is not accepted in the spiritual realm and it doesn’t have a right over you.

God didn’t take permission from anyone before He created you, before He infused you with those gifts, skills and talents; it’s time to use it for His glory & to your own joy!
What you have is not small, you’re not small!
So, what do you have in your hand? Don’t disdain or commonize it, it’s time to use it.

There are some moments in life when “thank you” feels too small for what the heart is carrying.

This is one of those moments. 🥹❤️

I’ve spent some time reading your messages, listening to your voice notes, seeing your posts, receiving your prayers, calls, gifts and love — and honestly, I am overwhelmed.

Thank you.

Thank you for remembering me.
Thank you for celebrating me.
Thank you for praying for me.
Thank you for speaking beautiful things over my life.
Thank you for loving me in ways I may never fully be able to explain.

Some of you have known me for years, some of you only recently, and some may not realise how much your words meant to me. But every message reminded me that my life has touched lives beyond what I can see.

And that humbles me deeply.

Above everything, I am grateful to God. I am here because He has been kind. For life, for grace, for growth, for every chapter, every lesson, every person, and every mercy that brought me here.

And then He surrounds me with people who make being here even more beautiful.

So, thank you. Truly.

May the love you poured into me return to you in ways that leave you speechless. May God answer the prayers you have whispered when nobody was listening, and may this new year bring you your own reasons to be grateful.

When I heard Doris share her story during a gathering I attended this weekend, it did something to me.. Many adults have a broken child still crying within them, they’ve grown, but they still don’t understand why their parents, siblings, guardians or extended family treated them the way they did.

When a child is rejected by the same parents that once loved her, it has a way of damaging the confidence of that child.

I could see the tears she had cried by the look in her eyes, and I knew, this lady has gone through a lot; rejection, the stereotype that comes with her situation, the loneliness that came from being rejected by parents and siblings, not being able to get a job because she can’t stand for too long and many other things.

It had me being grateful all over again, because sometimes we think we have problems until we meet someone that has been through hell and high water and they still choose to believe in the faithfulness of God.

Doris needs our help at this time, let’s help her get a job so she can have a steady source of income.

Thank you for sharing your story with me and the world Doris, I pray that God strengthens and continues to keep you in Jesus Name.

P.S. Parents, please, let’s do better. Don’t be the reason why your child or children will have life more difficult. If Doris had gotten love from home, I’m sure that everything would have turned out better for her. But God is the father and mother of those who have been rejected by their own, even the orphans and I’m sure that He will do what only he can do in your life.

If you’re like Doris, don’t look down on yourself, don’t relent, pursue the type of life you desire to have. Use this medium to get close to the One who is your anchor and your pillar, He never leaves. He loves us unconditionally. Use this moment to become stronger in and through and by Him.

Comparison is a thief, it doesn’t jump in your face with a gun, it steals from you silently.
It’s difficult to appreciate what you have when you’re constantly looking at what someone else has.
While I understand that sometimes, seeing something you’d like to have with someone else can stir up emotions and get you triggered. It shouldn’t trigger you to jealousy.
Instead it should be a pointer to the fact that if God did it for them, He will do it for you.
Envy, discontentment, doesn’t do anyone any good, it worsens it.
What you have is important, appreciate it, be thankful for it as you pray and aspire for more.
Joy is one of the virtues for receiving, not envy, not jealousy and not sadness.
What is that one blessing in your life that you’ve been overlooking because you’re comparing it to someone else’s?

Take your eyes and thoughts off their table, look at yours! And be grateful you even have a table to begin with!

Not only can something good come out of Nazareth, something gloriously great can come out of your Nazareth.
If your life is currently looking like dust, dark and void; congratulations, those are the exact materials God used in crafting all that we currently see… The earth and all that dwells in it.

No matter how you shout or try to prove a point, your voice cannot be louder than God’s voice.
Man will mock you when they see that what you say God wants to do with you and what your life presently shows are two different things.

You, ignore the scourging tongues of men and fix your gaze on Jesus.
Stay with Him, allow Him take the broken and shattered pieces of your life and transform it into a Master-Piece which in turn becomes a Centerpiece!
God, knows how to make beautiful things out of the abandoned, rejected and supposedly useless things of life.

So, if you’ve been feeling like your life is everywhere and nowhere, if you’ve been feeling lost, alone, rejected and dejected… You’re in luck.
Because you’re exactly where God wants you to be for what He’s about to do..

That no man will glory in His presence or take the glory for what your life is about to become… That you’ll look back in gratitude and all you can say is, “if not for God that was on my side”.
And all who mocked, laughed, will see and say that “The Lord, He is God!”

So, surrender, stay and trust Him.
And when He lifts you, don’t forget Him.
Don’t take the glory that belongs to Him, so He doesn’t fight against you Himself.

Trust you had an amazing Sunday, I know I did❣️

I totally enjoyed speaking with Idy.
I got to see some of her works and they are very impressive.
And shoutout to her mom, I could see the joy on her face when she spoke and encouraged Idy to tell me more about what she did, and it was truly beautiful.
It’s a blessing to have parents that support your dreams, push you to great heights and are with you every step of the way.

Most people think it’s a sin when they take time to rest.
There was a time that I actually felt it was a sin to take a nap and rest, because I thought sleep and productivity had nothing in common.
Thank God I woke up from that delusional mindset.
I remember one day on my way back from work, I’d been feeling feverish, nauseous and weak, but, hey, I have to do what I have to do.
You’re being paid to do a job and no one cares if you’re too sick to do it, just get the job done(so I heard).

If you’re waiting for a sign to take care of yourself and avoid a nervous breakdown or a burnout that will take weeks or even months to recover from, this is your sign.

Every other thing will still be there when you return..
If you lose the job because they don’t prioritize your wellbeing, God will give you another one or better still, give you an idea that will birth multiple sources of income.
If the people in your life, don’t understand that you need to take time out to rest and what they want is what they want, then you already know where you stand in their lives already; they just told you how much you’re worth- nothing!

Many people are in their graves, rolling now, because they ignored the signs from their bodies.
If you can take your car out for fixing when it knocks or breaks down, is your health not much more important?

I’m not trying to motivate you, I’m just trying to make what’s already obvious more obvious to you.

Don’t let them come to your grave and weep and still insult you behind your back for your lack of wisdom.
I believe this is wisdom crying on the streets on Instagram, I hope you listen to its cry and do what needs to be done.

There’ll always be something to be grateful for, you’ll see it, if you look for it.

Gratitude has a way of shifting your focus off the negative to the positive.
It shows you what’s still remaining even when you think you’ve lost everything.

Amanda Cook, an international gospel singer, sang “may we never lose our wonder!”
And it struck me, that the reason why many are discontent or ungrateful, is because they’ve lost the wonder of having that thing they once jump with gratitude for.
They became too familiar with what they had that it didn’t look like it was anything.

I understand that there’s a place for dissatisfaction, for wanting more- because God didn’t create us to settle for less, when He’s the God of MORE!
But as we journey towards what we desire to have; life, work, love, relationships etc, let’s be grateful for what we yet have.

Because that’s the beauty of life, it keeps you anchored in what truly matters…God!

Before you sleep tonight, listen to out what you’re grateful for. It doesn’t have to be a long list, it’s not for public consumption.
It’s your letter back to God, and to Him, even the little acts of gratitude are a big deal❣️

As I sat in the midst of my friend & her friend, they both spoke about their families & I saw how important it is to have a good family.
One you can always run to when you’re in need of help.
A family that can have your back when the world turns its back on you.
Family that loves you, no matter what (not the one where you want to drive your family members crazy because of your immaturity & bad behavior).

The unit of society, is the family, & once the family structure is faulty, automatically, the society is faulty!
The foundation for every family is the man & the woman.
It takes 2 good, disciplined, accountable, kind, honest, god-fearing, committed individuals to make any family work.

We can’t blame our kids for behaving in ways that we directly or indirectly sponsored because we refused to work on ourselves or discipline & train them as they should be.

Do you have a family you can be vulnerable with, or are they full of vultures waiting to feast on you?
Not many people have good family members, many are scared of their family.
Some family members will be the death of themselves, because they want to drag that person to the lowest part that they are.

Some friends become family, even more loyal, more concerned, empathetic & more compassionate than blood.
Blood they say is thicker than water, if the family you come from is nothing to write home about, don’t let a bad family come out of you!

Correct the mistakes of your predecessors.
Don’t let your children be afraid of marriage because of the way you treat your spouse.
Don’t let your daughters, sons be too afraid that they can’t confide in you when they are being bullied or molested.

Build that trust, build that foundation, be the shield that covers your children no matter what!
I don’t know if you know this, but you are the first god your children will see before they see & know God; what will they see?

Will it endear them to God or send them running in the opposite direction?
Please, ruminate on that tonight.

Eyes have not seen.
Ears have not heard.
Neither has it or can it be fathomed by the heart of man.
What God has in store for them that love Him and are called after His purpose.

Did Jesus die for you? Then this is for you.
Have you accepted Him? Then this is for you.
Do you love Him, despite how imperfect you are? Then this is for you!

Don’t put man in the place meant for only God, or you might die before your time!

No man is irreplaceable or indispensable, if one door shut, guess how many more doors, gates, windows, walls remain that can be opened?
8,300,000,000 Billion or more!
Wow, I’m awestruck!

Why do we kill ourselves with worry again? It’s a trap of the devil, to make us too shortsighted that the only thing we see is ourselves, our mistakes, our sin, the people we’ve hurt and the people that have hurt us and so on!

But it’s much more profitable to fix your gaze on God! Whatever you look at, you amplify!
He is the perfect writer, He can rewrite what has been written off by human beings or even by you!

God is not limited, and if He is truly your God, neither are you.
Can you take your eyes off yourself long enough to look at Him?
Can you trust Him even when the world you are familiar with has turned its back on you?
You can trust Him, believe me, He won’t use you past against you, before He formed you, He already saw your past, your mistakes and yet, He’s still here, He still loves you…

And even if the 8.3 Billion people don’t love you, guess what?
The number of Angels are more than the total number of human beings!
Lucky you, you’re not alone, you have backing!
May God open your eyes tonight to see that truly, you’ve never been alone, you just were not conscious and aware that you’ve been surrounded all this time…
