Physical discipline matters.

It builds consistency, strength, and resilience… and there’s real value in that.
.
But it can only take us so far.
.
Because I can train my body…
.
I can build routines…
.
I can push through hard things…
.
…but I can’t change my own heart.
.
That’s where spiritual discipline begins.
.
Not in control… but in surrender.
.
Not in striving… but in depending on God to do what I can’t do myself🙏
.
And if I’m honest, that kind of discipline is harder.
.
It requires humility…
.
It requires trust…
.
It requires letting go….
.
So this week, I’m not just asking, “Am I being disciplined?”

I’m asking, “Am I letting God change me?”

Fathers & Sons Growing in Christ 🙏

There is no greater calling for a dad than to be present in his son’s life—not just in the big moments, but in the everyday ones. Being there to guide, correct, encourage, and love… while pointing him toward the One who is the true Father.

As dads, we aren’t just raising sons—we’re raising men of God. Every conversation, every prayer together, every moment of worship, is a seed planted that will grow into faith, strength, and service to God’s Kingdom.

Discipline and Adversity

The Unseen Partnership..
That Changed My Life…
.
There have been many times in my life when everything felt like it was working against me. Doors closed. Opportunities vanished. People I thought I could count on disappeared. I found myself staring at a version of life I hadn’t prepared for, and honestly, didn’t want.
.
But adversity has a strange way of becoming a mirror. It shows you exactly who you are without the masks, without the distractions…
.
That’s when I realized something: I couldn’t control the storm, but I could control how I stood in it…
.
Enter Discipline 💪
.
Not motivation. Not inspiration.
.
Discipline. That quiet, unglamorous force that kept me going when nothing else did!
.
Waking up early when I didn’t feel like it.
.
Showing up when it would’ve been easier to make excuses.
.
Sticking to goals even when progress felt invisible.
.
Doing the right thing even when no one was watching.
.
It is not about perfection.
It’s always been about consistency.
.
And over time, that discipline became a rock solid foundation.

Take the Time, These Moments Become Their Memories…

It’s easy to get caught up in the rush of everyday life , work deadlines, errands, chores, the endless to-do list and anxiety over not having “enough”..
.
But every once in a while, it hits me: our kids won’t remember how “busy we were at the office”, or how fast we replied to texts and emails… but they will remember the moments we shared together.
.
The giggles over costumes they will wear and camp songs they will sing this week. The bedtime stories that turn into deep conversations about dreams, fears, and everything in between.
.
These small, seemingly ordinary moments are the ones that shape their childhood.
.
They’re building their memories, one moment at a time, and we have the privilege of being part of that.
.
So take the time. Slow down. Be present🙏

Enjoy every minute, even the chaotic, imperfect ones, because these are the moments they’ll carry with them for life.
