I’m especially thankful to have been able to travel with one of the greatest friends anyone could ask for. Thanks @saintbsmith for making Italy unforgettable and planning the trip of a lifetime.

People talk about the “European blues” when you come home, and while part of me misses it deeply, an even bigger part of me is excited to keep traveling, keep exploring, and keep living.

For a long time during active addiction, I used to always say to myself, “I just want my old life back.” Now that I have a life again, I can honestly say it’s better than I ever imagined it could be.

I’ve learned to keep my eyes forward, not dwelling on the past or wishing things had played out differently, and instead living by one of my favorite quotes:
“The best is yet to come.”

Life is beautiful. It’s a gift. And I truly believe you can make it look however you want.

What a fun little weekend getaway with my parents and my Babo (grandmother). So cool to see my brother too, even if it was for less than 24 hours!

Didn’t realize how much I needed a little break from my crazy schedule I’ve had throughout the last year while going to nursing school full time and working 40+ hours a week. So thankful I got to have this time with them!

The last 100 days have been an absolute miracle and transformation for my life. After spending 2 weeks at UNI after trying to end my life, and 86 days at Turning Point's Residential Treatment...my life is forever changed. Now I'm at a Sober Living apartment and doing Intensive Outpatient rehab. Here's to 100 days sober! I'm so thankful to have a chance to rebuild my life, one day at a time on this lifelong journey of recovery. Thanks for all your prayers 🙏
