You hold it together all day. You show up for people.

And sometimes you can’t do the dishes.

Not because you’re lazy. Because you’re exhausted in a way that’s hard to explain. Every app was built for the version of you that isn’t exhausted.

To Do-ish was built for the real you.

“This is the best panel I’ve ever attended.”

This past Thursday, we centered mental health and the human side of tech with Caring for the Mental Health of Your Team and Yourself at #SFTechWeek. 314 RSVPs, 59 interested, and so many personal messages about how much this topic matters.

Our panelists shared real stories from leading through things that don’t resolve on a roadmap:
• Showing up through a serious medical event, and what made it possible to keep working
• Being the first to speak up, and making it safer for the next person
• Being honest with teams about AI uncertainty without causing panic
• How much of yourself you can bring to work, and what psychological safety actually looks like

What stayed with me most was how many people told us afterward it helped them think through their own work situations and the future of their careers. The real-life impact is why we do this.

Thank you to @hudliao, Gretchen Libby, Sonika Singal and Ahmad Zahran for your honesty.

We couldn’t have done this without @hksyed and all the volunteers helping plan and set up this event.

A lot of advice for executive dysfunction assumes you haven’t already tried it.

Not on the List is a podcast from To Do-ish sharing conversations with clinicians about executive function, support, and the things we don’t talk about.

In this episode, Shelby Nolan, LPC, talks about why neurodivergent clients often seek out neurodivergent clinicians, and why a strategy can land differently depending on who’s recommending it and whether they understand why the last one didn’t work. by @todoish.app

Most mental health advice assumes the hard thing ends.

Sometimes it doesn’t. A war. A new diagnosis. Postpartum. And you still have a team depending on you.

On October 8 in downtown San Francisco, tech leaders and founders talk about what they actually do, not what they’re supposed to say. Hudson Liao @asiansarestrong, Gretchen Libby @amazonwebservices, Sonika Singal @accenture. I’m moderating. More speakers announced soon.

Free. Dinner, panel, tea, and real conversations.

Part of #SFTechWeek, hosted with @asianmentalhealthproject and @todoish.app.

Executive dysfunction isn't always ADHD.

When someone says "I can't get started," "I can't focus," or "I can't finish anything," the answer is usually more complicated than a single diagnosis.

Not on the List is a new podcast from To Do-ish sharing conversations with clinicians about executive function, support, and the things we don't talk about.

In episode one, Dr. Shayla Buckler, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, explains why difficulty with planning, motivation, sleep, and follow-through deserves a whole-person assessment rather than a rush to a label.

Episode one is out now. Link in bio.

Caregiving doesn't stop when you're exhausted. The meals still need to happen. The appointments. The things that can't wait because someone else is depending on you.

To Do-ish stays with you through it. No tracking, no output, no measure of how much you got done. Just a quiet presence reminding you that you are enough.

One step. Your energy. No pressure.

Neurodiversity Celebration Month is a reminder that no two brains are alike, and that's a beautiful thing.

Occupational therapy is about helping people live the life they want, on their own terms.

To Do-ish was built by a neurodivergent occupational therapist who has lived both sides of that.

April is Neurodiversity Celebration Month and Occupational Therapy Month.

To Do-ish was built by a neurodivergent occupational therapist with 15 years of clinical practice and a lifetime of lived experience. Designed for people whose brains work differently.

A support tool for the hard days. Not a productivity app.

*This is one of our built-in breaks designed around your nervous system, not productivity.

It's not that you don't want to do it.

You’re not lazy. You don’t lack discipline.

Some brains have a harder time getting started on tasks. It has nothing to do with capability or motivation, it’s executive function.

You can know exactly what to do and still have trouble starting. That's not a character flaw. That's neuroscience.

To Do-ish was built to support that moment.
