Some of you will know exactly why my hair has ended up like this.
Back in 2022 the S14’s gearbox decided it was its time to go, and from there the job pretty much snowballed into the whole engine coming out.
At some point I made the joke that I wasn’t getting my hair cut again until the car was back on the road. I then made the mistake of telling basically everyone who asked the same thing.
The engine is running and healthy now, but calling the Silvia back on the road would still be generous, so I think we can safely say it’s been long enough.
On 12 September I’m doing the Beast Race with @myatta_92 and @adamcumm . Once that’s out of the way, the hair is finally coming off.
Around 15 inches will be donated to @officiallittleprincesstrust , while I’m also hoping to raise £500 for @charliehousehq
If you fancy chucking a few quid in, it would be massively appreciated. If you can’t donate, even just sharing it would be a massive help.
Link in bio.
The Silvia still isn’t finished, obviously.
There will, however, be evidence of the hair actually coming off. by @tokuworks

Plenty more but to make it feel like home but a better place to get the Silvia back on the road. @dontfuckingcrash #s14 #unit #scottishcarscene taken in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK by @tokuworks

Fresh off the boat from Thailand, and something a little different.

I hadn’t been to a drift event in ages, being up watching @dontfuckingcrash was what I needed. Seeing everyone, talking cars, has really brought back that project car spark for my S14.

Massive thanks to @lewisduncan13b for the countless hours of tireless labour for the full tear down and rebuild of my #sr20det. I don’t think 2023 is achievable for my #silvia getting back on the road but with the finish line in sight the #s14 should be on the road next year. taken in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK by @tokuworks
