With great joy, I am delighted to share a milestone project we worked earlier this year where we partnered with Dezeen and SketchUp for their Design Workshops video series. TOS is thrilled to have been commissioned for the brand partnership—it’s a fantastic way to close out the year. SketchUp is 3D design software used to model architectural and interior design projects, product designs and more. It is owned by construction technology company Trimble. In part one of the workshop, we explore @sketchup_official software to design the interior of a craft-focused library informed by the history and character of Clerkenwell, London. Last night at the @dezeen awards 2023. An fun an inspiring night with colleagues and industry peers. Thankful and humbled to have been shortlisted as ‘Emerging Interior Designer & to be part of the Jury for Year 23. The award went to a well deserved winner who does incredible work @uchronia_world. I came across @uchronia_world via the grand tourist podcast were we were both featured as new designers. Genuinely delighted to have been involved with @dezeen this year. I left feel very inspired and ready to do more. So so excited to be featured in Making Space: Interiors by Women (Phaidon) by Dr. Jane Hall—a celebration of 250 women designers across 50+ countries. From Elsie de Wolfe, the first professional woman interior decorator, to pioneering 20th-century figures and today’s emerging voices, the book documents design history through women and serves as a global directory of women interior designers. Honoured to be included among such inspiring voices and beautiful spaces! I have long admired Jane Hall as well as many other incredible designers featured in the book!
