Summer is officially over, and so is our time with Lucy! @lucybrubkr

After just shy of half a year at Tolo, our host Lucy is off to her next chapter. When she’s not holding down the host stand, she’s painting, sleeping until 4pm (as one should), or learning how to make vegan milk at home.

Her Tolo favorites? Our little rice noodles with XO — gluten-free edition — and the NA passion fruit iced tea.

@chefrontini ’s new favorite main on the menu! Our duck breast gets a little makeover for year three — paired with hawthorn & chestnut in a few different ways.

Hawthorn brings a bright, tangy contrast throughout: brushed onto the skin as a glaze, folded into the chestnut purée, and reduced into the duck jus. taken in Tolo 吐露 by @tolo_nyc

Duck leg confit is BACK - but in a new set for year 3️⃣❗️

Pressed into a block, served with silky cheung fun (rice noodle) and steamed mustard greens, all glazed in our char siu sauce.

Our Salt & Pepper Pork Chop now comes with an extra-bright, extra-spicy hot long pepper purée + that fresh mixed herb salad we can’t get enough of.

Meet Meg @meeegs_b 👋 Our Beverage & Service Manager and the reason why our prawn toast is back on the menu 🦐

Fun fact: the prawn toast was Meg’s favorite dish at Tolo before she even worked here. Naturally, we had to bring it back.

Originally from San Diego, Meg loves the beach and will take just about any opportunity to jump in the ocean 🌊 She studied Wine & Viticulture at Cal Poly SLO, and when it comes to what’s in her glass, you’ll usually find her reaching for a grower Champagne or an off-dry Riesling. 🥂🍇

The OG is back! 🍗⚡️

Our Typhoon Shelter Style Fried Chicken has returned to the menu—crispy, garlicky, and covered in those addictive crunchy bits that somehow disappear faster than the chicken itself.

Whenever we’re craving bold flavors and a little heat, we’re heading to Tolo. The Sweet & Sour Crispy Fish is always the move, and with an order of Ron’s Seaweed Fries, it’s basically Tolo’s version of fish and chips. Don’t sleep on the wine list either. Stone fruit season is here 🍑✨

Our bluefin tuna tartare is getting a summer upgrade with pluots and pluerries, paired with Serrano pepper and our housemade ponzu. Sweet, spicy, bright, and ridiculously refreshing.
