A massive thank you to all of you who have supported me thus far with this!!

This is a bit of a long one, but I’d really appreciate you taking a moment to read.

You might have heard that Arusha Gallery—who I’ve exhibited with multiple times over the years—went into liquidation last year, leaving behind a real bad mess. They owe unthinkable amounts of dosh in unpaid artist fees, they took payments from clients who never received their artworks, and even sold works that hadn’t been made—without the artists’ knowledge. This is just a small amount of their dodgy practices, and would be considered criminal in most industries, but, seems to be a recurring pattern in the art world. What makes it worse is that artists are the ones taking the hit, while those responsible often move on and repeat the pattern elsewhere. Naughty naughty!

Thankfully, I’m not owed any money. However, 10 of my artworks—pieces I’ve invested significant time, effort, and money into—are currently locked up in storage in London. The gallery failed to pay their storage fees in multiple locations, and now, in order to prevent the works from being disposed of by ArtMove (threat of being auctioned off where I would see none of the profit) those costs have been passed on to the artists in the form of a release fee. Tut tut!

To raise the £750 needed to release my artwork (plus transport costs back to Scotland), I’ve created a new artwork and risograph print.

I’m selling:
‘Gloaming Bathers’ 2026
• Risograph print, 42 x 28.7 (edition of 100) — £25 (£29.67 if postage in the UK)
• Original artwork — sold

If you’d like a Risograph print, please get in touch. It would mean a lot, and hopefully will allow me to get my precious artwork back. by @tom____adam

I used to assist hanging this big ol’ billboard at @kingsgateprojectspace with my buddy @theoshields a few years back, and its been on my mind since. The right work came along in the form of ‘Space X’s Falcon 9 over Leith in Lockdown’. It’s very pleasing to see it fitting in nicely alongside the rooftops and skies of Kilburn.
