Tailtiu is one of my favorite characters from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War! Despite the abuse she endures from her family members, she tries her best to spread positivity and be a strong mother for her children, Arthur and Tine. Her powerful Thoron tome and Wrath skill are really fun to use too- she's a goddess in the Arena! 🥰

I've worn my Tailtiu cosplay for a long time, but last year was the first time I got to do a professional shoot with her! I had a fun time taking photos at a beautiful castle with other Genealogy cosplayers ❤️

[A SECOND CHANCE]

The time of the Elves has come to an end, and Galadriel reaches out to Maglor one last time, just before they make the final journey across the sea.

I had this cosplay photo taken of my Maglor and @moodrose_art's Galadriel at Katsucon 2025, and we managed to get set up just in time for the sunset! The rocky shore outside the convention center was absolutely gorgeous and perfect for this shot. This was a last-minute idea I had, but it really paid off, because we knew this photo would be perfect for Tolkien Reverse Summer Bang 2025, leaving plenty of room for the author to develop Maglor and Galadriel's relationship. Look forward to reading starspray (ao3)'s amazing fic when the collection goes live on Sept. 6!

Tb to this cute Joshua & Jill photoshoot we did at Dokomi this year 🥹 This was the second time we cosplayed this duo and it was so much fun! Especially since we've both upgraded these cosplays since the first time we wore them together at the NY ren faire!

I already miss Dokomi, it was such a fun con (even as we were sweating like hell!) Hope to be back again there in a few years 🙏

So excited to finally be able to share this special photo from our Fëanorian shoot! We really wanted to explore Maedhros and Maglor's codependent relationship during the Years of the Trees, and we decided we'd stage this lovely scene for Tolkien Reverse Summer Bang 2026. I drew a concept sketch for it on my Tumblr (solmarillion) and we recreated it in cosplay. Look forward to the accompanying fic by serinquanion on AO3 on September 5th!

It's been a moment since Feanorianposting and we still have so many cool shots to share from this photoshoot! The Stockmann ruins were such a cool spot for photos and this scene in particular reminds me of Frodo's confrontation with the Nazgul on Weathertop... only the weather is a lot nicer 😂

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the Tolkien Meetup at Otakon 2026! We had such a great turnout and we got such amazing photos from across the Ages! From Hobbits and Elves to Wizards and Nazgûl, everyone truly brought out the most epic moments of Middle-earth. Special shoutout to the Lord of the Rings VHS tape from the Otakon stamp rally (did you see it at the Valko shrine?) and to the Cosplay Coordination staff who helped get this meetup on the schedule for the Swords and Sorcery theme!

I've wanted to post more photos of our FFXVI group shoot for a long time but my backlog for photos is currently so long that I haven't had the chance to drop them all yet - not to mention editing everything! But now here's finally a few Jote/Joshua duos me and @tomefaired took this summer 💕

Suomenlinna is the most magical photo location imaginable. It has old battlements, grassy hills that look like Hobbiton and endless ocean views. I can highly recommend it as a location for both casual visits and photoshoots for anyone coming to Helsinki, and it's just a short boat ride away from the city center!

Finally posting my lineup for #Otakon2026! On Friday I'll be Maglor all day, joining my friends for a "sad elf bards" photoshoot and hosting two Tolkien meetups, including a special meetup outside from 11-12 and the official one from 8-9pm! On Saturday morning I'll be Pelleas for an amazing Tellius meetup. In the afternoon I'm switching to Joshua as I'll be presenting my very first panel, "Musical Storytelling of Final Fantasy" from 3:15-4:15! I've been working nonstop with my friends to make this panel happen. Hope to see you all at the con!!

Journey to Middle-earth and join us for the Tolkien Meetup at Otakon 2026 on Friday, July 31st!

"Yes, but what about second meetups?" I'm glad you asked! We'll be having TWO meetups this year: an unofficial outdoor meetup on the Apple Store lawn from 11am-12pm (no badge required), and the official scheduled photoshoot in Gaming Hall D from 8-9 pm. There will be ribbons as well!

Here's the first of the pair photos me and @tomefaired took as Jill and Joshua at Dokomi! It was so fun to cosplay this duo again after such a long time (the last time was back in 2024 at the NY ren faire) and this time with upgraded versions of these cosplays! Coincidentally we also found this perfect spot at the Nordpark which reminded us of the Three Reeds area in Final Fantasy XVI 😍 This really popped straight from the game!

Thanks also go to @daydream.creation who I was so happy to work with again after so many great photos at Hadescon 💗 These turned out amazing!

Happy 3rd anniversary, Final Fantasy XVI! 🐦‍🔥

Three years ago FFXVI came out and changed my life. I never expected this game to hit as hard as it did, but it became an instant favorite and affected so many fields of my life, including my cosplays, art and writing. It's connected me with so many new friends and brought me closer to old ones. And I'm so happy to see new people still connecting with it three years after it's come out!

This photo was taken at our group photoshoot in Suomenlinna at the beginning of June when @tomefaired was visiting Finland! @pahisman and @dynakata joined in and borrowed my cosplays and we had so much fun. I hope to do something like this again in the future 🩷
