November 3 was highly anticipated in 2020, and is again this year. Many of the same concerns from that year are still with us. Our Celliola friends mused about them in “November Remembrance,” and implored us to take whatever action might be available to us: by @tomflaherty47

OK I really don’t get Instagram. Is sharing someone else’s post on your page the same as posting it yourself? Will the same people see both and feel spammed, or do some people just see one? Or will people see both and be delighted? Who can say? Sorry for spammed, happy for delighted. Here is “another” post:

Wowee! The brilliant Nadia Shpachenko has just released another CD! I’m delighted to be included as a composer. This one celebrates the game of soccer, with newly commissioned music by lucky composers Pamela Z, Ian Dicke, David Sanford, Dana Kaufman, Harold Meltzer, Christopher Cerrone, Oliver Dubon, Adam Schoenberg, and myself. by @tomflaherty47

I am so excited that my soccer-inspired album “Keys to the Beautiful Game” is now for consideration for Best Classical Compendium and other categories in the first round of GRAMMY® Awards. This album features very cool music I commissioned from composers Tom Flaherty, Pamela Z, Ian Dicke, David Sanford, Dana Kaufman, Harold Meltzer, Christopher Cerrone, Oliver Dubon, and Adam Schoenberg. Each composer delivered their unique take on the game of soccer and I got to not just play piano (sometimes with electronics), but also to narrate (while playing) and play on the pedals wearing cleats (in Dana’s Honeyball)! And I got to collaborate with the wonderful Pamela Z on the performance of her piece Balon! If you haven’t already heard the album, please check it out. You can watch the video trailer and listen to the whole album at the link in my bio. by @tomflaherty47

Can an 18th Century German physician shed light on the current state of our national politics? Celliola and Friends have thoughts. by @tomflaherty47

Surely you are longing for a concert with four terrific cellists, especially if they could be Maggie Parkins, Julie Jung, Kyle Champion, and Eric Lindholm. That might be enough, but if only there could be a fabulous horn player, maybe Danielle Ondarza? And two fabulous pianists. How about Jennie Jung and Kyungmi Kim?

In the same concert?!! For FREE?! That’s asking a lot, but check out Lyman Hall in Claremont tomorrow, Friday 9/18 at 12:15. Make these folks and their composers happy! by @tomflaherty47

What a pleasure to be in the company of Maggie Parkins, Eric Lindholm, Kyle Champion, Julie Jung, Danielle Ondarza, Jennie Jung, Kyungmi Kim, and Robert Schumann this Friday!
