With this latest Show concept I wanted to be as real and open with the audience as possible. To create the whole show live in front of them. I moved through 5 different photography set ups to capture each look, communicating to the audience not just hair technique but the importance of taking risks in the pursuit of creative growth.

3500 equates to a lot of risk but it’s that feeling that keeps us sharp, not relying on what we know but creating right on the edge of what we are capable of.

The show was a pleasure to perform thank you to all the audience, to Davines and my incredible team.

Back to where it all began 🖤

@tommconnell takes us around Manchester, revisiting the places that shaped his early career, from his first assistant role and sneaking through the salon door late, to surviving on tips, sharing meals with his mates and being completely obsessed with all things hair.

✂️ Then it’s off to @hairconshow, where Tom joins an incredible team of artists to prepare a very special tribute to the legendary @TrevorSorbie. Using sketches Trevor created during the final months of his life, the team brings his unrealised ideas to life and completes that final step on stage. From training days to showtime, this is a story of ambition, friendship, mentorship and the icon whose influence is still felt in everything they do. Trevor may no longer be here, but he’s everywhere.
