Super stoked to announce the world premier of Unlikely Duo this Friday in Vancouver for the @arcteryx film tour! You can also catch it later this month at @thevimff

Eric and I have got to spend a bunch of time in the mountains together weather its here in the back yard or deep in adventure in the Himalaya and this project showcases the nature of our partnership. Last season finishing it was quite the challenge in the alpine with the avalanche and weather conditions but we worked hard and made it work!

Huge shout out to @peterwojnar for all the work behind the lens and computer all season, @zannyvenner for making it all come together, @reubenkrabbe for being a ninja with the photography, and of course @arcteryx @bznowack @basebuildben @sweenyj @dkwong_ @thompson_claire for letting the dream actually come to screens! by @tompeiffer

Excited to share another cover from what turned out to be a really special day of storm skiing and shooting with @tompeiffer

This day pushed us creatively in the best way. We wanted to make images that felt different and something that actually translated the feeling of skiing in a storm. It also wasn’t one of those mega 50cm days where our jobs become easy and every turn is bottomless. We had to really search for the right spots and compositions.

Since I was shooting with flash, you only get one real shot at it, so timing and communication had to be completely dialed. A bit of trial and error, a lot of trust and somehow it all came together with the cover of @skieurmagazine

Some insight from @tompeiffer on the athlete’s perspective:
“ As incredible as skiing is, it can sometimes become a bit monotonous. Finding ways to change your perspective or think creatively is super important to stay motivated. We both wanted to step out of our routine and try something different, and sometimes when you go in without expectations, the best things happen. That day worked out really well for us.” by @tompeiffer

Always envisioned a super simple cover shot - just a clean white frame, mid-powder-turn bliss.

Shots like this are way harder to come by than they look, at least in my experience, let alone landing one as a cover.

Really stoked to see this image with @tompeiffer land as the cover for @akaskidormag . We shot this on one of the deepest and most fun days of my life in Hokkaido while filming Simplicity for @blizzard_tecnica .

This frame pretty much sums up what we were chasing with that project: stripping things back to the pure joy of skiing powder.

Not in Japan right now, but fired up seeing all the homies scoring.

Scroll to the last slide for the BTS of this sequence - can you pause it on the exact moment the cover was shot? by @tompeiffer

Get the lowdown on Blizzard’s new Canvas ski line with @tompeiffer. We joined the @blizzard_tecnica freeride team in Austria last winter during the final stage of prototyping for a behind-the-scenes look.

Tom knows a thing or two about full-throttle sending from his time on the @freerideworldtour. He also knows exactly what the new Canvas line brings to the table. Who’s going to love these new skis? @marcuscaston, take it away...

I would be lying if I said 2025 was an easy one but through all of it I can say the bright moments shined real bright! Looking back on it all, no matter where I was, it was the people around me who made each moment so special. Thank you everyone and more! Looking forward to the new year by @tompeiffer
