There are so many things I love about being in the ministry, but one of my top passions is watching the development and evolution of leaders.

Pastor Johnny and Elijah are two of the greatest youth pastors I have ever seen in the local church. It was such an honor to come “home” last night and speak to the youth ministry that they have poured their hearts into. I’m so proud to call these two men my teammates. by @tonymattar

Fall 2026. by @tonymattar

My denomination asked me to film a “day in the life of a church planter.” Filming myself for an entire day was an interesting experience. Felt like when your parents say “how do I reset my router” Share in the comments if y’all think I should become an influencer. Enjoy. by @tonymattar

I’m telling you, what Pastor @filmorebouldes is doing in this city through his church is powerful and refreshing. This man loves this city and cares for the future of the Northwest. Honored for his friendship and incredible church planting wisdom. Thank you for supporting me, brother. by @tonymattar

Who would’ve ever thought that two punks from Jackson high school would one day be pastoring in the same city as each other?

Pastor Ryan and I graduated from the same high school in the same year and we have had a very similar timeline. We both found Christ in college. We both became youth pastors in the same city.

We both transitioned from next gen ministry feeling called to go church plant around the same time.

And now we have both planted churches in the same city.

Ryan is such a gift to me personally and to the Kingdom of God. We are both committed to seeing this city be transformed by the love of Jesus Christ! I care deeply for this man and for banner church and for every single church plant in our city. by @tonymattar

Wrapped up vacation with the family this week. FIRED UP for this new season of parenting, marriage, church planting, and still sucking at golf. HERE WE GO

*to all my family who will text me, let me save you a text…. This is AI. This photo was not taken on our cruise. We did not pay for this photo to be taken. by @tonymattar

revival starts in the home

For about two years, Linya has been asking us about getting baptized. We've sat for multiple hours of conversations on faith and following Jesus, wanting to make sure she fully understood. If you know Linnie, you know she is wise beyond her years, and she knew she was ready for fully say yes to Jesus. It came to the point where us delaying this decision any further felt disobedient to what God was asking of her.

Her faith inspires me. Oh that I might trust in God the way that she does. May you follow Jesus all the days of your life, Linya Joy. by @tonymattar

If you’re seeing this, God hasn’t forgotten about you. He sees you, He hears you, and He cares for you.

Join us back again tonight for Night 2 of our Revival Weekend starting at 6pm. We’re hungry for more! by @tonymattar

Made my debut as assistant manager of tiger shark FC. Lovely win on the pitch today. Our little gunner did a brilliant job chasing her friends and the ball at times. by @tonymattar

It is such a gift to be half Egyptian and half Palestinian. To witness my mother‘s home nation come to my city and play was incredible. Attending the world‘s greatest game was a gift that I am incredibly grateful for. I still cannot believe I attended the World Cup in Seattle. It was also extra special to go with Elijah who was one of my former youth students, but now becoming a pastor. I will never forget today.

also, if you live in Qatar, you will see me on the news tonight 😂 by @tonymattar

Seattle loves the sunshine!

Today was such a great Sunday. We got to dedicate one of our new babies in the church, and Pastor Tony gave a great word today.

Go listen on Spotify! And come back next week 9am & 10:30am 👏
