In a housing market built around nuclear family assumptions, navigating homeownership as a polycule, a multi-generational household, or any other nontraditional family structure can be uniquely challenging, but also deeply rewarding. This event is designed to guide chosen families through the home buying process, with a focus on collaborative ownership, legal considerations, financial planning, and creating living arrangements that support your shared values and lifestyles.

Navigate mortgage applications and financing options with multiple co-buyers
Understand legal structures for shared ownership (LLCs, trusts, tenancy in common, etc.)
Plan for future transitions, including relationship changes and aging-in-place
Build consensus around location, layout, and living needs
Protect individual rights while honoring collective goals
Work with a real estate agent and lender who understand your needs.
Whether you're a triad dreaming of a shared farmstead, a queerplatonic house of besties saving for a duplex, or a four-generation family pooling resources for security and connection, this course offers practical tools and affirming guidance to turn your vision into a home.
