Being a military wife can be isolating , especially if you are away from friends and family. Even worse , if you are in a town that barely has activities to do.

I visited a new spot in Columbus for a paint n’ sip this week and let’s just say it was a vibe . They have discounts for military families and a nice variety of drinks and dessert platters. Definitely enjoyed my time and will be visiting them again with the hubby.

We all need a vacation at least every week if you ask me😂 but ….. since I can’t afford that yet , I enjoy the little getaways in between the seasons.

This hotel in Daytona is super clean ! Like, from customer service to actual cleanliness it was top tier, And better yet it was very family friendly for those of us with children. Definitely not gatekeeping because who doesn’t like a quick getaway along with a beachfront view 😌😉

Oh, the food was also amazing from breakfast to dinner!

Nothing recharges you like a good outing with women that truly get it ! 🫶🏾

Being a mom has truly helped me to understand what matters most. A lot of us just want to feel like we still belong without someone else always reminding us , “you are a mom now,” cause truly that irks the heck out of me. Glad I was able to get together with a few of my sistas that truly poured into me .

Yes, you can be a mom and still have friends. WOW 😮 shockers! Real people exist outside of a title. So find your mom tribe and talk to people that understand you outside of just being a mom . Connect with the friends that never leave just because you became a mom . Love on those who truly love you for you sista girl 😘🫶🏾

This was a few months ago, but I will forever cherish these moments and the nerve of us to stay up like we not tired 😂
