Introducing our Directors✨

Victoria (Tori) Kabernagel O’Malley is a choreographer, instructor, and dance artist based in Charleston, SC. Raised in Bel Air, Maryland, Tori began training at age three at Harford Dance Center. During her time in Maryland, she performed with pre-professional company Harford Dance Theatre and competed with Harford Dance Center and the Fallston High School Dance Team.

Tori graduated from the College of Charleston in 2018, earning a BA in Dance and Arts Management, a BS in Hospitality and Tourism Management and Business Administration. During her time at CofC, Tori’s dance training spanned from commercial to concert styles. Tori competed with the CofC Cougarettes Dance Team at UDA College Nationals, she performed in several department productions, including works by guest artists Tara Madsen Robbins and John J. Zullo, she served as a Rehearsal Director for faculty and guest works, including choreography by Michael Nickerson-Rossi of Nickerson-Rossi Dance, and she presented numerous choreographic works at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, Charleston Fuse Festival, American College Dance Association (ACDA) Southeastern Conferences, and in various CofC Department of Theatre and Dance concerts.

Since graduating, Tori has taught and choreographed for performance groups in California and South Carolina. While teaching and choreographing in Southern California, she presented group and solo competitive work with Dance Dimensions, Home of Hartin Dance Company.

Upon her return to Charleston, Tori taught at The Dance Space and served as Co-Director for the Charleston Dance Project. Her work has been featured at the Gatsby Gala with Blue Steele Productions, North Charleston Arts Festival, Piccolo Spoleto Festival, Holy City Dance Festival, Craft Charleston, and numerous Dance Space productions.

Tori is excited to be launching a lifelong dream and creative endeavor alongside her sister, Julia. After sharing the studio and stage together for nearly twenty years, they have joined forces to establish their own platform, KAB&CO. taken in Charleston, South Carolina by @torikab

If you're going to do bows, DO bows! I absolutely love these dinner menus because while the concept is simple, the impact is huge.

In my stories yesterday, I said "always go for the white ink" and I stand by that statement! Colored paper with white ink is so timelessly beautiful against white napkins, and the blue ribbon ties into the linen color.

All credit goes to bride Tori for choosing these colors!

It’s my little sister’s birthday. ✨ One of the shining moments of our wedding day, and season overall, was how my sister showed up in all these incredible ways as MOH. Jules is steadfast in times of adversity. While not the loudest in a room, she has a commanding presence that makes others respect and believe in her. In little Kenz’s words, she could run a seal team operation. Having run our bridal party was close to it - ha! In all seriousness, she took the time and detail to really honor what was important to me personally in this season. She helped me pull off the most epic flash mob of all time with her choreography and teaching skills. And despite her fears of public speaking, she pulled out an incredible MOH toast that left the crowd in tears. Although the little sister, I’ve always said she has big sister energy. I will never take for granted how lucky we are to share our lives together. You are and always will be the joy of my life, little friend. 🤍
