I’m not crying, you’re crying!! @arianagrande says she got to watch #Wicked part one with her entire family back home in Florida, but it was particularly special to share the moment with her Nona, who took her to see the Wizard of Oz when she was a kid. 🥹💕💚 taken in Palm Springs, California by @torikingtv

Been working on a special project with one of my besties @allie_anthony_kesq , who also happens to be one of my fav coworkers. We literally started at KESQ together one week apart, and she’s been my ride or die since day one.

This piece was a fun one to shoot, and challenged us more than any other story I’ve shot before. It started out as a crazy idea: A two reporter in-depth PKG. Can we do a two person story? Has it ever been done? Why would we need to? How do we shoot this? Who does the interviews? Who does the voice overs? Can we really do this?
These were all questions we had to ask ourselves. But stringing this together was one of the best things I’ve done in my journalism career so far. It’s fun to go into the unknown and pave a new path, on a new frontier of journalism.
Quite possibly our most important question: WHY NOT? Why not shake it up and do something different? In a world where TV news is changing, we have to constantly evolve and develop to keep up. I hope yall get to enjoy our hard work, showcasing our local heroes.
Tune in tonight at 6! 🔥🎥🚒🧯🎤
