Dropping our new single “War Water” Friday 6/5. This one’s been close to my heart for a long time. Our social media averse arranger-in-chief Mathew Smith put together a string arrangement worthy of your weeping. Pre-save in stories or bio. #austinmusic #atxmusic #timkile taken in The 13th Floor by @tormenter

Big news y’all - my first ever solo single is out TODAY.

Starting today, I’ll be releasing one song every Monday in June. I’ve been sitting on this EP for 2 years, and am very excited to finally share it with everyone.

This project was a blast to work on with @tormenter at @icfstudio. We had talked about working on an ambient record together for some time, and when we finally got to it, things fell together magically.

Inspired by ambient music, we used organic textures and live instruments. The record is a study in color and texture, centered around unconventional approaches to acoustic piano, colored with tape loops and feedback, layered with keyboards, upright bass, percussion, and more.

“sinking” is available on all streaming platforms (link in bio). More tunes coming soon!
