It’s been a huge pleasure working with Sayuri Ichida @the_final_view and helping bring her vision to life through screenprints on chalk boards for 空席 (Kūseki) inaugural exhibition of the 5th @jerwood_foundation @photoworks_uk awards.

This weekend marks the final chance to see the exhibitions in London before they tour to Barnsley Civic, Ffotogallery, and Streetlevel Photo Works.

We’re very much looking forward to the opening of the inaugural exhibition of the 5th Jerwood/Photoworks @jerwood_foundation @photoworks_uk Awards, opening 10 January 2026 at Drawing Room @drawingroomlondon | Tannery Arts @tanneryarts.

The exhibition brings together new work by Sayuri Ichida @the_final_view and Roman Manfredi @butchfemmelove.

Manfredi’s work titled TRA moves between still and moving image, portraiture and film, exploring identity, place and transformation through the charged landscape of Napoli.

Ichida’s 空席 (Kūseki) responds to Japan’s shrinking rural communities, combining photography, collage, sound and sculptural installation to reflect on absence, memory and quiet disappearance.

It has been a great pleasure working with Sayuri Ichida on this body of work, and a privilege to realise her vision through the printing of her photographic collages on chalkboards.

We’re excited to see these powerful, nuanced bodies of work presented together and to celebrate the opening tomorrow.

A pleasure having Egyptian artist Okasha @inflatablespace in the studio for a very special personal project.

A series of hand-painted backgrounds and translucent paper, layered with A0 silkscreen prints - gesture, colour and unpredictability of texture meeting the printing process.

Raw, instinctive and deeply tactile, Okasha’s practice moves fluidly between painting and print.

Thank you, Okasha, for bringing your energy and ideas into the studio. Such a pleasure working with you!

We had the pleasure of working with wonderful Rosie McGuinness @rosiemcguinness on the screenprints for ‘Common Hours’, her new series of work now showing at @this___house gallery.

Created following Rosie’s Spring residency at the gallery, the works celebrate the everyday moments spent relaxing with friends and loved ones — full of colour, pattern and those last feelings of summer.

Such a pleasure to print these works. More from the process soon.

Throughout August, we’ve been proofing Luana Duvoisin Zanchi’s new 11-colour silkscreen, and we’ve now just finished the edition.

It’s such a pleasure to look back at the process and arrive at that moment when the print finally feels finished and accomplished — when all the layers, colours and decisions come together and we know we’ve arrived at the print we set out to make.

We’ve grown very close to Luana throughout this process, and it has been an absolute joy to create this new body of work together.

For the print, Luana hand-painted the films to create watery, soft and dreamy marks, building a gentle green-hued background that allows the luminous cadmium reds and pinks — so characteristic of her signature palette — to really glow.

We’re looking forward to introducing this print to all of you very soon.

Making there @sfartbookfair debut with FAWW @torneditions by @gretahaga_ .

Last month we had the pleasure of having our first studio visit at @firstfloorstudio in Bermondsey South London.

Led by Greta Haga, operates as a professional proofing and editioning department within Firstfloor. Driven by a vision of collaborative artistry and project-based residencies, Torn Editions offers a unique platform for artists.

Combining traditional and experimental techniques, it pushes the boundaries of contemporary printmaking, opening new avenues of artistic exploration. The dedication to museum-quality archival inks and exceptional silkscreen and intaglio printing ensures the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

It was incredibly inspiring to spend an afternoon with artist Alyssa Warren @alyssawarrenstudio today and learn more about her multidisciplinary practice, which brings together photography, printmaking, bookmaking, and collage. Her thoughtful approach to materiality, storytelling, memory, identity, and place shines through every aspect of her work.

From her beautifully crafted artist books to her experimental analogue and alternative photographic processes, Alyssa’s work is an incredible example of how print and photography come together to create rich and meaningful narratives.

Thank you, Alyssa, for welcoming into your studio - left feeling inspired and full of ideas, and we’re very much looking forward to our collaboration.

Monoprints for sculptor Alexandra Harley @harleysculpture following the opening of her solo exhibition at @muse_at_269.

Translating sculptural ideas into monoprints feels like an extension of Harley’s materials-led practice — one that explores motion, animation and flux. Her sculptures capture suspended animation: transitory fragments in time, fleeting moments held in physical form. Though not kinetic, they generate a strong sense of movement through dynamic spatial configurations and complex constructions built from multiple elements.

Working predominantly with wood, ceramic and, more recently, bronze, Harley creates energetic compositions with rhythmic qualities that seem to shift as you move around them. There is a deliberate tension within the work — forms that teeter on the edge of stability, embodying a sense of unease while remaining beautifully balanced.

A pleasure to explore these ideas through monoprinting and see how movement, openness and flux translate onto paper.

We had a great pleasure working closely with artist Parks Sadler @by_parkss on his latest work ‘Always it will remain..’ 2026, a series of silkscreen prints on cotton bedsheets, each panel 150 × 40 cm.

Sadler, a London-based artist originally from North Carolina and MA graduate from Central Saint Martins, continues his exploration of the “active archive” — where material holds personal and collective memory. His practice moves through photography, sculpture, and printmaking, reflecting on queer identity, intimacy, and transformation.

On view at Palazzo Mora as part of the European Cultural Centre’s @ecc_italy ‘Personal Structures’, in conjunction with the 61st Venice Biennale @venice.art.biennale.

9 May – 22 Nov 2026.
