Round 2 of Andy @grassrootsguiding vs the Tarpon. After our first attempt failed 30 min before, this time we had to temporarily grab the plate to subdue the fish, which was kept oxygenated in the water while it was quickly photographed, measured, and safely released! The weather was very interesting today on the coast. As low pressure thunderstorm cells came in, the wind would dance in a different direction. And since it was dawn, the light would change directions as it reflected off the incoming clouds. Here you can clearly see that effect on the rain sheets that are softly spilling out of the clouds. Clothes wet, soul cleansed. by @torohorn

A MedTech bootcamp combining hands-on minimally invasive surgery, engineering and design thinking, and entrepreneurship. Medical students, engineers, scientists and people from business and venture capital, working as one team on a real unmet clinical need — from early morning to close to midnight, for a week.

The brief: define the problem, propose the technology, build the business case, defend it.

Happy Father’s Day to the man who taught me everything about what it means to be a dad and a role model. Regardless of how busy he was or how much he travelled on the road recruiting, when he was home he was always present and made us feel this is where he wanted to be. He led and inspired many in his years of coaching, but I feel fortunate to call him my dad. Happy birthday “Coach Pa”, we love you! by @torohorn

Took a quick trip to Marseille, which is much easier now with the TGV. People in Paris were a touch derogatory about Marseille, but I was very impressed. It’s a colorful city for sure, and edgier than Paris (although outside the main tourists areas of Paris can be dodgy too). Le Panier is the bohemian village on the end of the peninsula is a great place to wander and pick up street art or some fresh seafood. taken in Marseille, France by @torohorn
