Chattanooga!! You have a new designer ribbon source just in time for the holidays!! No more feeling sad at the thin single ply ho-hum ribbon aisle at big box stores! We’ve been there! Today we moved in a new cabinet for our ribbon room @mercantileattheridge! 👏🏼👏🏼 Carrie & I actually painted this massive beast ourselves this week & got a good start loading it up with some gorgeous @johnmarkenterprises ribbon! I put a before photo in this carousel so you can see where we started! We’ll be working like busy elves for the next several weeks, so stop in and see us! 💚🦃SOLD🦃💚We brought these vintage hand painted turkey plates and large platter (circa 1950s) back from our recent trip to Brimfield. We have 8 dinner plates and a large serving platter. The turkey plates have fabulous coloring & look great with pink or green cabbage ware or with your blue and white transferware! These will set a fabulous thanksgiving table! So here’s a look at most of our #Brimfield haul! We were up at 2:30 this am to catch an early early early flight home😵‍💫😵‍💫! I think Thursday we walked 17K steps, Friday about half that but we spent quite a bit of time packing up all these treasures to bring home on the plane. We have 2 yuge suitcases FULL (49 #each😳) and still had to ship 3 boxes😮! Smart tip from David @parkerkennedyliving… he’s so smart he brought his label printer with him & was generous enough to help us out! Thank you, @david_ecton 🙏🏼. It’s been a tough week cleaning up our shop after being flooded, but we will be opened today (Saturday)!! We aren’t fully recovered, but it’s progress. So you may have seen in our stories that @mercantileattheridge is closed… the flooding was due to a sprinkler system malfunction. We are so thankful to all of the store personnel, other vendors, friends and the cute East Ridge fire men who helped us minimize damage. We’ll be continuing clean up tomorrow to try to get the store opened and at least somewhat shop-able by Saturday. We genuinely appreciate everyone’s patience and support during these trying times! Especially our friends @themustardseedgifts who cleaned up the disaster we left in our shop over there as this tragedy was happening!
