Hear ye, hear ye, submissions to 2026-27 Touchstone Literary Arts Journal and online publications are open now!

Ye may find submission links, guidelines, and and FAQs at the link in our bio and on the Hatter Network website at hatternetwork.com.

Since 1987, Hatter Network’s Touchstone Literary Arts Journal has provided places for Stetson University students, faculty, and staff to learn, perform, publish, and edify their creative work. Every year, we publish a collection of student-created poetry, prose, music, traditional and digital art, photography, film, criticism, and other genres of creative work in the Touchstone Literary Arts Journal. Submissions are reviewed anonymously by genre-specific selection committees comprised of Touchstone editors and staff members.

Don’t fear— Uncouth Hour is back after fall break!

What performances might befall us tomorrow night, like Florida autumn leaves?

Uncouth Hour is Stetson University’s student-run open-mic night, hosted by Hatter Network’s Touchstone and WHAT Radio since 1997. It takes place every Thursday from 9:30pm to 10:30pm in Lee’s Garage at the Carlton Union Building (CUB). Snacks and Cultural Credit are provided.

We had such a relaxing yet exciting time sharing our work and silly handwriting with the Writing Center at our first Flash Writing Night!

Thank you to everyone who attended and, especially, Touchstone staff member Olly Paradiso, who brilliantly created and ran this whole event. Hoping for many more to come! :)

An Uncouth Hour of tragedy and comedy, musicals and movies, and poets, too? Dionysus’s cup would be overflowing!

Howdy, Hatters! In just one week, some of our honors students are presenting the public-facing aspect of their Nexus Project. All students are welcome and encouraged to come by to support Gelly Lezcano, Emma Accardi, and Cora Gerdes! As Dr. Ripert would say, "this is Nexus in action." by @touchstonelitart
