What a dreamy night!! What a treat to be part of a sustainable fashion community that shows out!! I was so tickled to get to open the show for this years organic runway.✨

Big massive thanks to @hv_sfw and @apres.lamour for curating, organizing, coordinating, and so much more. I cannot wait to share more of this event and the sunning space that hosted the runway show.

Congrats to the other designers, everything was so special and I love seeing how people invent new solutions for using existing materials. BIG thank you and a couldn’t have done it without my wonderful models!

Hey everyone, for those that are new here and for those of you who’ve been with me since the beginning…

👋 Hi, I’m Moth. A non-binary, almost 30 something queer, based in Philadelphia - with big dreams of living deep in the woods. I’ve been working in textiles for the past decade, with a focus on creative reuse and leaving things better than I’ve found them.
.
My work references the natural world, American folk art, astrology, and ritual symbols. I want people to feel empowered when wearing Touch Threads, finding joy and authenticity in expressing themselves through their wardrobe. I want us to reconsider our relationship with our clothing, reconnecting with quality, artful, and classic pieces that can live with us through all of our life transitions.

Summer! Isn’t! Over! Yet! 🌞

Back at one of my favorite classes: PRINT PARTY!
Friday 7-24 6:30-8 - studio 210 - 17 railroad ave.

Come bring your own clothing, tote bags or fabric and use my library blocks to make your own design. $50 per person, all printing materials provided, and no experience needed. This class is a really fun way to customize clothing that needs a little bit of love or big patches or print on a pillowcases or make a gift for a friend. I’ll have seltzer and a few snacks but BYO-bevs are encouraged 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 by @touchthreads

Another year down! Thirty-one was a total whirlwind of travel and celebrations. Ash and I bought our home; painted every room, filled it with laughter, character and the best boys in the world. I painted big, got a studio, walked a collection in the fashion show, and kept the dream of an artistic life moving. It’s a joy and a honor to be at this point, I’m endlessly thankful to live this life and love my people well.
