The first ever Field Trip, presented by London On The Inside, takes place TONIGHT @singburi_e1. And what a way to kick things off - with one of our favourite Thai chefs, Chalitta of @baanlamyai Bangkok.

The menu features her signature dishes, including the chicken wings stuffed with sticky rice and coated in larb seasoning, the pork jowl salad and the startled langoustines - her spin on Baan Lamyai’s classic river prawn dish.

It’s officially sold out, but if the weather plays ball, there’ll be walk-in spots on the terrace. Go grab a bowl of wings and a glass of orange and bask in that Bangkok glow.

Field Trip edition one, in partnership with @opentableuki , has been an excellent outing. Now, onto the next one. WATCH THIS SPACE.

Industrieller Chic trifft auf thailändische Hitze in der neuen Inkarnation eines beliebten Londoner Restaurants. Das erste Singburi war eine Londoner Legende. Ein Fish-and-Chips-Laden, der sich zu einem thailändischen Restaurant entwickelte und von den glücklichen Gästen, die einen Tisch ergatterten, regelmäßig als Londons bestes Restaurant gefeiert wurde. Nun ist man in das coole Ambiente von Shoreditch gezogen und akzeptiert jetzt sogar Kartenzahlung. Auf einem maßgefertigten Grill wird über offenem Feuer gekocht und zwei der besten thailändischen Köche stehen hier bei lodernder Flamme. Gerichte zum Teilen, eine grandiose Karte mit Signature Drinks und ganz viel Atmosphäre, machen dieses Restaurant zu einem neuen Kult-Spot in der Londoner Gastroszene.

at @zylia_taverna and Zeus can keep Mt Olympus cos this guy has Mt LAMB CHOPS and feeling just as godly.

Big ups to @toufas for what he’s done here, dropping a little piece of Greece right in the heart of @coventgardenldn - expect homely, taverna vibes with big flames, bigger flavours and a menu of happy food.

It’s a winner start to finish.

🎉 It’s been a year since we opened here in Shoreditch. Come through! Tuesday 7th July, from 6pm, for one night only...

We’re taking it back to the old school, with Siri’s dad where this all started. Sawong Tony Kularbwong has devised a special menu with Siri and Nick. We’re bringing back some Leytonstone classics:

Moo Krob
Crispy Catfish Chu Chee
Crab Curry
Cha Om Omelette

at @singburi_e1 for moreish CHICKEN KA PRAO and an open fire PORK CHOP that was hotter than this farking heatwave. I dunno about you but I have been a mess.

Not Singburi though, which is solid as ever. They built a cult following out in Leytonstone and have brought it to the heart of Shoreditch.

London is going through an era of stunning THAI food and this place is very firmly part of it.

There’s something incredibly special about seeing Greek hospitality continue to flourish in London. Every new opening tells another chapter of our story, and Zylia is one that deserves to be celebrated.

My friend Nikos Molyviatis and Barry Karakostas have created a restaurant that feels authentic from the moment you walk through the door. Warm, vibrant and effortlessly welcoming, it captures everything a true Greek-Cypriot taverna should be: a place where food brings people together and every table feels like family.

The menu is a beautiful tribute to our shared heritage. From handmade pitta, smoky melitzanosalata and creamy tyrokafteri to beautifully crisp spanakopita and outstanding prawn saganaki, every dish reflects respect for tradition while celebrating incredible produce. Then comes the charcoal grill—the heart of the restaurant—with perfectly grilled sheftalia, souvlaki, slow-cooked lamb kleftiko and whole grilled fish that transport you straight to the Mediterranean. And if you leave without trying the galaktoboureko or the karidopita, you’ve missed one of the highlights of the experience.

As a fellow Greek chef, nothing makes me happier than seeing another exceptional Greek restaurant join the ever-growing family of Greek openings in London. Together, we’re showing the world the depth, generosity and beauty of our cuisine, proving that Greek food is so much more than the classics people expect.

Wishing Nikos, Barry and the entire team every success. May your dining room always be full, your grill always burning, and your tables always surrounded by people creating unforgettable memories.
