I added a pile of M81 dad hats to the site. Embroidered to order right here in the US of A.
-
I’m not tagging the products because every time I do Instagram just shits on the post, so go to the website and scroll down to hats, they’re there. Let me know what other colors you’d like to see and what other styles of hats you want.
-
Just a reminder: I am personally working through order placed before May 15 and am still about 4 weeks out. All order placed May 15 and on are being fulfilled by the new printing company and you will start seeing shipping notifications very soon, if you haven’t already.

Thanks guys! by @tows_____up

#WeaponsWednesday…25th Marines Anti Tank Training Company shooting TOWs and setting Fort Chaffee on fire…
-
This last Wednesday of Infantry Month I’m giving something away to the 0351/0352/D Co 11B/CAAT photo or video with the most likes by the end of the day tomorrow. Now I lost a bunch of my draft posts so if you sent something in, just send it in again. Good luck!

🪖 Proliferation of ATGMs on the Modern Battlefield 🎯

The proliferation of Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs) on the modern battlefield has significantly altered the dynamics of armored warfare. These highly advanced and versatile weapons provide infantry and other units with potent tools to engage and neutralize armored vehicles at extended ranges. The widespread availability of ATGMs has created a more challenging environment for conventional armored forces, eroding the historical dominance of tanks.

Using Russian Armor-Mech Losses as an example.
(Oryx as of 30 JAN ‘24):
Total Russian Tanks (2678, of which destroyed: 1753, damaged: 149, abandoned: 235, captured: 541)

Total Armored Fighting Vehicles (1160, of which destroyed: 779, damaged: 32, abandoned: 80, captured: 271)

It’s estimated that 40-60% of those destroyed are from ATGMS.

One of the primary effects of ATGM proliferation is the increased vulnerability of armored vehicles. The long-range precision of these missiles allows infantry units and even irregular forces to engage and destroy armored assets from concealed positions. This capability reshapes the traditional battlefield, compelling armored forces to adopt more cautious and adaptive strategies to mitigate the risk of ATGM attacks.

Furthermore, the proliferation of ATGMs has forced military planners to prioritize countermeasures and active defense systems. Armored vehicles are now equipped with advanced defensive technologies, such as reactive armor and active protection systems, to intercept and neutralize incoming ATGM threats. This arms race in defensive measures reflects the recognition of the strategic importance of countering ATGM threats on the contemporary battlefield.
