I turned 45 today! I am so fortunate to have been spoiled by my family all day long - including an artisan crafted birthday crown, donuts for breakfast, chicken parm for dinner, a new flannel shirt, and tons and tons of birthday hugs! Thank you @angelapingaro for herding the littles and making today so great.

The last year didn’t go as planned for any of us. There were so many things we learned. I know we got stronger through it all - more resilient, and most importantly closer...together.

If the last year taught us anything, it’s that we don’t know what lies ahead and we need to be ready to embrace change that can come from all angles. I’m excited to see what the next days, weeks, months and years bring. I’m ready to keep learning, keep getting better and striving for new PRs in life.

Stella turned 10 yesterday and today she did a mini Murph! Proud of her!

And, very grateful for those who have fallen in the line of duty to protect and serve all of us. 🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day to all! taken in San Clemente, California by @tpingaro

This was supposed to be #spartanmontana weekend, one of my favorite courses. Unfortunately that didn’t happen but the team at @spartanrace put on an incredible Virtual event. Very appreciative for their commitment to the community, adaptability and unbreakable core.
I wrapped up after completing a virtual Trifecta racking up 74 “obstacles” and 36 km / 22.3 miles of running. It wasn’t fast nor pretty but got it done 👊

And best of all, I got to cross the finish line setup by my kiddos, captured by my amazing wife @angelapingaro

Congrats to everyone who spent their Saturday doing the #VDR and can’t wait to cheer on those continuing toward the full 24hr Unbreakable challenge...utterly amazing!

Special shoutout to @ryan_chavez and the #crossfitactiveperformance team. Their remote programming has kept my in shape so I can do silly things like this. Anyone looking to get into shape or improve your performance, give em a shout!

Life lessons! @angelapingaro is doing such an amazing job homeschooling our Lulu. One of the many ways she is helping to prepare Lulu for Kindergarten is by working on her writing skills. Every day, a new phase is selected and they practice writing it on the chalkboard. Lulu’s penmanship is improving so much. 🥓 😋 taken in San Clemente, California by @tpingaro

Gorgeous Sunday here in OC. So gorgeous I had lots of company out on the trails this afternoon. The bench in pic 1 - I’ve literally NEVER seen a person at this bench and I’ve been to this spot at least 50 times. Will people stay this active post COVID? I hope so!

In pic 2 is a 🐍 - they scare the 💩 out of me every time I see them. A PSA to all those venturing out to enjoy our beautiful natural environment - it’s spring and we have all kinds of snakes - be aware and practice social distancing with snakes too. Oh yeah, and probably a good idea to leash your dogs.

Felt so awesome to get outside and enjoy the spring bloom and ocean views. So lucky to be social distancing in San Clemente!
Pretty happy with how my #covidbeard is coming in after 1 week. A few more gray whiskers than I’d like but not bad.

Stay healthy everyone!

Greetings from the highest point in San Clemente, CA. Be healthy everyone... COVID-19 got you down? Get outside and get high (elevation). Social distancing in nature is helping me stay sane. It’s gonna be an interesting 2-3 weeks ahead let’s all do our best to stay positive and come out of this period stronger and together.
