It use to be a man cave. Did you see the clue?

Ugh, too funny and oddly unique and quite disturbing not to mention extremely disgusting the more you think about it.

This will "almost" be the cleanest you will ever see this studio again, 😆

And yes, it is gone!

For me fringe has to be - so free, so flowing and so full of movement. A dance between beads and thread and when it works its magic.

Do you like fringe?

It's been 17 months and 6 days,

since the first in a series of several misfortunate events touched our reality, and stoled my voice. It hit hard. I hit hard.

But seasons are just that - seasons, and time does heal.

And now that I have found it, all I really want to say is..,

I love you!
Thank you!
Your continued support means a lot to me ❤️

Why is it dumb?
My husband is red-green color blind. I know this, yet I still ask.
His answer - no.
So I asked, "What do you see?"
Silver was his response.

I tried looking for a filter that would demonstrate what he saw. The black and white showed more silver than grayscale (last photo).

So, so interesting! So many new thoughts and questions:

What does blue-yellow colored blindness see?
Do right brainers see it differently than left brainers?
Am I doing a disservice to my customers by only seeing my vision and not considering theirs?
What do you see?
What are your thoughts?

I would love to hear them. ❤️ Traci

So how will you be spending your
hard earned dollars for Christmas???

I ask only this from you -

Before you click and ship,

Please think community first!

There are so many wonderful and unique events sprouting up all around: craft and art shows, pop-ups , and small businesses hosting events to make this the most "wonderful time of the year" fo you - their community. Please support yours ❤️

A week in an unscheduled artist's life.
Or should I just admit that I could have ADHD?

I am still longing for major time in my studio. It is so close now. I can feel the lull of fall approaching as the campground slows and students appear.

And on top of all this, I am thinking Christmas.
I'm thinking of making a list.
Checking it twice? Awe, that's where my problem lies; I forget to check it 🙄

Are you a list maker?

Did you know that anything over 6 grams per pair of earrings is considered on the heavy side? 10 grams is considered max.

So what happened here? I could feel the weight of the amethyst and component together and just knew!

I love this combination, especially those wild montana agates. However, it's just too much weight. So, they will be slated for another project.

Finally! A little studio time!

I've come to accept my conclusion that summertime is not my "creative" work time.

Instead of metal clay, playing with my new maker's mark has captured my attention. I love how it turned out. Thanks @mahasmith_art

Also, I thought I'd show a pic of my bench - cause it's clean!! 🤣

Do you believe in Universal persuasion?

Last week, I was gifted the PMC3 packages. The next day, the Art Silver.

Is this a message? Next week's plan is to pull all my clay and tools out.

Hit me with a brick 🤣🤣🤣

Wishing the best of weeks Next week
Stay tuned 😉

Up next - my first time make a ring in gold.

I've been saving this luscious tourmaline just for this. It just screams eat me on top of that gold! Picture does not do it justice.

Wish me luck!

What's my excuse now?

Still, jonesen to get into my studio, but this has been a summer full of family and activity, and I can't complain 🥰

Both sets of kids with grand babies (yay!) are/were up to celebrate the fourth and the engagement of our youngest daughter.

It will be sad to see them go. I do have studio time slated for next week.

How about you? What's that one thing you just can't seem to get to?

My inspiration for the week!
Both the bee and the flower! 🌸 🐝

What is that one thing you've been putting off doing? Is this the week to get it off your list?

May your week be blessed!

As always, thank you for following. 💛
