The most points EVER scored by a CTFL athlete 🤯

Bridget Brennan of the Huskies, drafted 68th overall in 2022 as a Utility Athlete, collected a whopping 77 points for the Huskies after switching to a Core Athlete this season in the Women’s 400m Hurdles.

She did this by having the best mark amongst all 400mH Core Athletes in the CTFL, across all three categories:

* 25 points - Prelim Mark - 1:00.43 at Guelph Prelim
* 25 points - Free Mark - 1:00.53 at Olympic Trials
* 25 points - Championship Mark - 59.90 at CTFL Finals
* +2 points - Competing at two additional CTFL Prelim meets

After being a Utility Athlete for two seasons, Brennan’s switch to a Core Athlete made an immediate impact in the field.

Not only was it an outstanding CTFL season, but Brennan also finished 5th at the Canadian Olympic Trials. She would then have a storybook ending to her season one week later at the CTFL Finals where she dipped under 60 seconds in the 400mH for the first time ever!

Now the defending Women’s 400m Hurdles champion, she’ll be the one her competitors will be looking for. Until next season, let the title rest in her name ✌️
