What does connection look and feel like to you? Connection to oneself, connection to others, connection to Mother Earth, connection to Source, connection to God…

What role do these connections play in your day to day life? Is there a depth in connection, or a disconnection? How connected are you to the way you move through your day, from the moment you open your eyes in the morning until the moment your head hits the pillow at night?

I’m looking inwards, or rather feeling into this and noticing how I connect with the different aspects of each day.

••• Moments of reflection •••

If you’re up for it, sit with these questions and see what comes up for you…

Wow, what a wildly profound, confronting, initiatory year this has been. They say ‘be careful what you ask for.’ 😉

I remember moving towards the end of last year asking for a sort of ‘rupture.’ Not for chaos, but for the opportunity to experience emotions bigger than myself; to develop and nurture a container capable of holding greater depths without being completely taken out by them. An individual and collective pattern, it seems, that we are navigating as the currents of the field usher us through uncertainty and into collective change.

Through depth psychology studies I have explored, this is part of the journey~ allowing oneself to sink into the depths and to meet, and even court the medicine of the rupture. To learn how to remain embodied and present with what is difficult. And I have been calling this in, both for my own growing capacity and with this, a richer capacity and toolbox to witness and hold space for others moving through big things too.

Some of these initiations were consciously sought, through stepping into experiences that guided me beyond my thresholds and into the unknown. My next direction of Vision Quest being one of them. Others arrived like a strong gust of Cape Town wind, quite literally knocking me off my feet, leaving me with little choice but to surrender, to sink in, and meet what is present. To experience, in the body, the forces of life calling me forward into the next phase.

And so I sit here in the ninth month of the year, looking back at all that has shifted, unravelled, broken open, and changed. In many ways, I feel stripped bare, exposed, vulnerable, and yet wide open, more intuitive, receptive, more in my body than I have ever been. An unbecoming to reveal what is authentic and what is no longer aligned with the path. A call to a more embodied, sovereign self.

It is through these initiations, both self-imposed and driven by circumstance and karma, that we are offered a chance at more authentic ways of being in the world.

And with that, I honour the path. I honour the process. I honour the humility it takes to walk through these ebbs and flows of rupture and change while trying to keep a curious, open heart♥️ by @tracylee_d_

I’ve been contemplating what it truly means to hold a container.

Witnessing the immense growth of the wellness and spiritual space over recent years has brought me into deeper reflection around my own work. What am I really offering? What makes a container a good container? What does it mean to hold people well?

There was a time when my curiosity and this spiritual seeking had me on a journey of exploring various modalities. I wanted to learn more, understand more, gather more perspectives. And while that journey taught me a great deal, I’ve come to recognise the difference between collecting tools and embodying a practice.

The deeper I journey into my own practices, the more I realise that depth comes from developing an intimate relationship with the work that continually calls you home. I guess in this way, I will probably always consider myself a student. With my head bowed to the depth and mystery of this path, and my hands open to what there is still to learn as I deepen into my own embodied journey of living this work in the day-to-day.

Because a container is not simply a structure, an agenda, or a collection of practices. It requires boundaries and intention, but also accountability to what is alive in the moment. The ability to listen beyond the plan and respond to what is actually emerging in the field.

The most impactful containers I’ve experienced held both structure and flow. A grounded framework that created safety, paired with the freedom to move with what was unfolding. For me, this is where integrity lives.

Not in having all the answers, nor in rigidly following a process, but in knowing your work deeply enough that you can remain present to what is actually happening in the room.

So in this way, I contemplate on the thought that holding a container is less about leading and more about stewardship which anchors me into alignment with my offerings.

Tending the fire. Listening carefully. Remaining in service to the moment and the group.

And this brings me closer to the containers I want to create and hold, as well as the people I want to collaborate and co-create with.

There comes a moment in a woman's life when the answers are no longer found in doing more.

They are found in creating space.

Space to soften.
Space to listen.
Space to hear what has been whispering beneath the noise.

The wise woman knows that clarity is not something she must chase. It reveals itself when she slows down enough to receive it.

Held by ancient landscapes, open skies, and the rhythms of the natural world, we gather in Namibia to remember.

To tend to the inner fire.
To reconnect with what matters.
To honour what is ending.
To welcome what is ready to emerge.

Beyond the doing and the striving, there is presence.

And beneath the expectations, responsibilities, and stories we carry, there is a deeper knowing.

Given space, it always finds its way home.

Namibia calls... 🏜️

Wide open landscapes.
Endless skies.
Ancient silence.

A place where the noise softens, the nervous system exhales, and you can finally hear yourself again.

If you’ve been longing for space, perhaps this is your sign.

Life moves fast… Don’t forget to slow down 🌀🌱

It is often only when we create spaciousness that fresh insight can emerge. A space for deeper enquiry. A space to bring awareness to what no longer serves. To release old stories, outdated patterns, and ways of being that have quietly shaped how we move through the world.

In that spaciousness, we begin to remember what is true. We reconnect with our essence and step forward in deeper alignment with the woman we are becoming.

EVOLVE is an invitation into that journey.

Held within the vast and wild landscapes of Namibia, this women’s retreat offers a space to pause, reflect, reconnect, and consciously step into your next chapter.

If something within you is stirring… A longing you can’t quite name, a quiet voice asking for more… perhaps this is the invitation you’ve been waiting for.

To learn more, reach out to arrange a call or visit our website to explore the retreat and reserve your place.

Lately I’ve been reflecting on the beauty of these spaces we get to create.

Not just the breathwork itself, but everything that comes both before it and as the journey unfolds. The intention woven into the space… The quiet preparation... The way a room can hold people before a single breath is taken.

The more we facilitate, the more I realise that none of it happens in isolation. The space itself becomes part of the experience, holding and supporting people as they arrive with whatever is present for them in that moment. The joys, the challenges, the uncertainty, the grief, the longing.

There is something deeply meaningful about creating a space that allows people to meet themselves honestly, while gently supporting the movement from where they are to where life may be calling them next.

And then there is the breath. 🌬️

This beautiful medicine that asks nothing of us other than our presence. Always available to us. Always with us. Meeting us wherever we find ourselves, with embodied awareness and curiosity.

There is something incredibly humbling about witnessing people soften into themselves through something so simple, yet so profound. Something which in itself has provided deep healing across many layers and facets of my life 🙏🏾

Deeply grateful for this space, for this work, and for all those who continue to trust the wisdom of their own breath. Looking forward to our next intimate breathwork this Sunday with my partner in all things beautiful @sartoriavril 🌀 taken in Constantia, Western Cape, South Africa by @tracylee_d_

Gently landing and integrating after a wildly beautiful and soulful retreat which we held in Namibia over the weekend. Thanks to the incredible @melopearl_retreats for your vision, and the way we weaved together to bring this to life.

The theme of the retreat was Return to Simplicity, and over the few days together, we tapped into simple yet potent ways to do just that… To reconnect with the medicine that we carry within, to embody deeper truths that can’t find their voice in our overstimulated bodies and minds, and to return to our inherent nature through quality time in and with Mother Nature.

A group of powerhouse women from different backgrounds and cultures came together to “do the work”… To show up for something calling us forward. Whether subtle or loud, opening up to a call that could no longer be ignored. A call to come back to ourselves. To fill our own cups (a task that us women rarely make a priority). To reconnect with our wild nature. To step beyond the stories, traumas, conditioning, and labels that we can so easily hold onto.

Over the weekend, we explored new tools to regulate our nervous systems, deepen our connection to self, to soften in relation to each other, and reconnect with Pachamama, remembering the natural rhythms that exist beyond the noise of modern life.

I think each one of us left with something uniquely our own and a revitalised sense of purpose, a deeper connection to our why, and a more open, trusting heart to explore what is unfolding next with playful curiosity.

What a privilege it is to witness women remembering who they are.

Thank you to @norotshama_river_resort for the space and place that held us in the magic of the weekend! Looking so forward to our next retreat here towards the end of the year ⛰️🏜️🏞️ taken in Norotshama River Resort - Aussenkehr by @tracylee_d_

Held along the Orange River at Norotshama River Resort in southern Namibia, these retreats are an invitation to slow down, soften, and return to yourself.

This is not just yoga. This is not just a holiday. This is space to breathe. To feel. To reconnect with your body, your truth, and a like-hearted community.

A glimpse into the flow

✨️Midday invites rest ~ river walks, canoeing, swimming, journaling, & nourishing lunches.
✨️ Evenings bring deeper experiences ~ sound journeys, sunset gatherings, shared meals in the desert under the stars in a canyon, cacao ceremony, fireside chats.

There is structure ~ but also spaciousness.

This retreat is hosted at Norotshama River Resort ~ a hidden oasis along the Orange River, where desert cliffs meet flowing water.

You’ll wake to stillness, golden light, and open skies. Evenings end with sunsets that soften everything. This landscape holds you.
