Here at T8 it’s important for us to share our values with you 💪🏼

I think our clients will confirm that we are passionate about living to these every single day.

I’m curious…

How do our values align with you?

👊🏼 by @transform8me

Strong bodies. Confident minds. Skills that go way beyond the gym. 💪

Future T8 has been a brilliant addition to what we offer here at T8 since launching earlier this year.

Every Thursday, our junior coaching session gives youngsters the opportunity to train in a fun, positive and supportive environment — whatever their current ability or experience.

Through functional fitness, we’re not just looking to make them fitter.

We want to help youngsters build strength, coordination and aerobic fitness, but also confidence, resilience, teamwork and a genuine belief in what they’re capable of.

Most importantly, we want exercise to be something they enjoy and hopefully build a positive relationship with from an early age.

Every Thursday
4:30–5:15pm
All abilities welcome
Open to T8 families AND the wider community

If you’ve got a youngster who you think would benefit from Future T8, we’d love to welcome them along.

Drop us a DM with the words “FUTURE T8” and we’ll send you all the details. by @transform8me

OVER 3 STONE LOST

But this transformation is about so much more than weight.

There are two very different versions of Chris in these photos.

Yes, physically the change is incredible. More than three stone gone. Fitter, stronger, healthier and capable of things that perhaps the Chris in that first photo wouldn’t have imagined.

But the biggest transformation isn’t necessarily the one you can see.

It’s in his habits. His standards. His performance. The way he thinks. The way he carries himself. And, probably most importantly, the value he now places on himself and his own health.

I spoke to Chris recently and he said something that really stuck with me.

He doesn’t feel like he wants to stop here.

As he moves towards his 40th year, he wants to be the fittest he’s ever been. He wants to keep finding out what his best can look like.

And I love that.

Not because we should spend our lives endlessly chasing the next thing or believing that what we’ve already achieved isn’t enough.

Quite the opposite.

Chris has achieved something massive. He deserves to stop, look back and be incredibly proud of it.

But there’s something powerful about reaching a milestone and realising that taking care of yourself is no longer something you’re forcing yourself to do.

It’s simply part of who you are now.

And that’s what I see in Chris.

Away from his own progress, he’s also just a genuinely good human being. Always willing to support someone else, always getting behind other T8 members, and always willing to give his time and help us on event days.

None of that goes unnoticed.

So this one is simply about giving Chris his moment.

The photos say a lot.

But those of us who know him know they don’t tell half the story.

Massively proud of you, mate.

And I genuinely think the best part is that you’re not finished yet. 👊 by @transform8me

THURSDAYS = ENGINE WORK 🔥

There’s a difference between making someone tired and actually making them fitter.

Our Thursday HYROX coaching session has a clear objective: develop the engine and improve our clients’ ability to work effectively around threshold.

Ergs. Running. HYROX-style movements. Sometimes solo, sometimes pairs or teams.

The format can change. The objective doesn’t.

And importantly, we don’t just guess the intensity.

Throughout the session we’re checking heart rates, speaking to clients and using RPE to make sure they’re actually working where we want them to be.

Because harder isn’t always better.

The right stimulus, applied consistently, is what moves the needle.

Another huge shift from the T8 crew. High energy, good vibes and purposeful work throughout.

Want to improve your HYROX performance but unsure what your training is missing?

Drop us a DM with HYROX and we’ll be happy to help. by @transform8me

This was midday yesterday at T8 HQ, and Wednesdays mean an upper-body focus.

Coach Tommy led the crew through warm-up and activation before our main lifts: flat dumbbell press and heavy renegade rows.

From there, chins — scaled from assisted through to weighted, making sure everyone gets what they need.

Productive, efficient and effective.

And of course, birthday burpees for Amanda!

Stay tuned tomorrow as we show you how Thursday’s HYROX differs from Tuesday. by @transform8me

STRONGER. FITTER. FASTER. 💪

What a transformation from Mike.

Mike came to us with a strong background in running, but knew there were pieces missing.

He wanted to become stronger.
He wanted to improve technically for the hybrid-style events he had coming up.
And importantly, he wanted to train consistently without the back pain that had caused him problems previously.

Fast forward to now and the difference is huge.

He’s stayed lean while adding muscle tissue, his strength has gone through the roof, his fitness has continued to progress and he’s becoming a far more complete all-round athlete.

But that’s exactly what we want.

Not just stronger.

Not just faster.

Not just fitter.

We want our clients to become better all-round athletes while remaining healthy, happy and enjoying what they do.

And Mike absolutely embodies that.

Away from his own progress, he’s also become a massive part of T8. One of the biggest cheerers in the room, always encouraging the people around him and genuinely just one of the good guys.

The physical transformation is brilliant.

The performance improvements are even better.

But having people like Mike as part of our community is what makes T8 what it is.

Massive well done mate. Thoroughly deserved.

And we’re nowhere near finished yet. 👊 by @transform8me

Want to get better at HYROX? Just doing HYROX isn’t enough.

Tuesday at T8 HQ combines strength and conditioning.

We build strength to make HYROX movements more efficient, before moving into threshold conditioning, working at the right intensity to build the engine required to perform.

Because we don’t just practise HYROX. We build the strength, engine and fitness components that make you better at it.

Struggling to get your HYROX time down? DM us HYROX and we’ll help you understand where your training could improve. by @transform8me

MONDAYS AT T8 HQ: LOWER LIMBS 📈

Mondays at T8 HQ lean towards lower-limb strength.

That doesn’t mean missing Monday means missing legs. Lower-limb work features throughout our programming across the week, but Monday gives us an opportunity to place a real emphasis on getting our clients stronger, more powerful and more robust.

No random circuit training. No walking into the gym wondering what to do. No going it alone.

Every session is coach-led and forms part of a progressive programme designed to move you forwards over time.

Warm-up. Activation. Primers. Key strength movements. Functional fitness conditioning. Accessories.

All coached. All programmed. All with a purpose.

A massive well done to every member of the Monday crew who got after it today.

Stay tuned over the coming days as we take you behind the scenes of Tuesday and beyond, showing how we differentiate our sessions across the week with one overriding goal:

Building better athletes. by @transform8me

‘I’m more confidence knowing I’ve got another gear when it hurts’

I got 1st AG today :)

‘I actually really enjoyed that, not heaping loads of pressure on myself’

These are just some of the comments from those that took part in today’s Basildon Half Marathon.

Always a proud moment seeing clients run on their big day

Running a half marathon is a huge achievement, often we lose sight of why we do what we do.

Whilst it’s easy to forget to enjoy the day, a huge well done to everyone.

As always the T8 supporters in the side line never go unseen either.
