2026 Chicago Marathon

Might be my favorite race ever and definitely one of my favorite cities I’ve ever been to! Chicago, I loved you! And nice to walk away with a shiny new little PR!

Trail Runner v Road Runner

One of us fueled with high carb drink mix and gels and the other one fueled with rice krispie treats and nerds gummy clusters…

Chicago Marathon Long Run

Peak week for the Chicago Marathon is here!! @marathonellie and I ran 20 around downtown Atlanta! Got lost, saw some new parts of town, were stunned at the new bathroom pods around town, and somehow found ourselves in the middle of not one but TWO different races at various points in the run! Always a fun time knocking out 20 miles with a friend! Chicago Marathon is right around the corner!!

Sign up for a trail race!

Trail running is the best because it takes you places you’d never see! And getting to do it with friends most of the time makes it even better!

3 minutes into a 100 mile race and you’re already tired because the race start was at 5am

Not the race I wanted, but the race I needed 🏔️

70 miles done at the @officialmilestoneevents Rocky Mountain Challenge. Not the 100 (or 107) miles I had hoped for but proud of every mile I earned out there! There is something truly special about ultra running and the people who choose to endure challenges and push themselves to see what they can do. When you’re on the trail, it doesn’t matter who you are in your daily life. We are all equal in suffering and I’ve found during these races you find your people and your people find you. It was so great getting in some trail miles with @jessiezapo and loved all the conversations we had about the running world and life!

Cannot thank @officialmilestoneevents for bringing @itsjessrunning and @kristenrunswild into my life at their first event two years ago. Now we’re all three permanently stuck with each other.

Not the race I wanted but the race I needed. Sometimes you don’t realize how badly you needed to do something until it’s over. I’ll never get tired of this amazing thing we all do called running!

Thank you trail running for showing me the most incredible places on foot! I do not take this privilege getting to see these beautiful landscapes for granted. It all started when I ran my first trail race with @officialmilestoneevents two years ago. This year’s event running in Colorado was my favorite. The miles with amazing people, laughing the whole way while getting to push ourselves is a privilege! My best advice to anyone, go see as much of this world on foot as you can!
