Wrestling has been a crazy part of my life since I was 13. I never knew what I wanted to do or if I even wanted to do a sport. Growing up trying to fit in was hard, I was always too skinny for all of the things I tried doing. I tried baseball, basketball and even football. One day, I get asked to try out for the wrestling team and thought why not. Never knew I’d be finding something that I’d be so passionate about.

I met the best people through this sport, and even a whole new family in so many. I’m forever blessed to still have all of those people still here supporting me and even meeting a whole new family here at Life. It does suck to say I’ll never compete again, but I don’t regret a single thing I’ve accomplished. The amount of blood sweat and tears I’ve put into this sport is insane, I love those hard days and will always remember how it feels to want to quit and turn back the other way. I will always be so grateful for everything I have been through, and though I’ll never be a national champion, I’ve learned so much more than that. God has so much bigger plans for me and every plan that the lord has in store is gonna be better than any national title I could ever have. I Thank everybody for the support and love over the past 10 years, couldn’t ever be more thankful.

God wills it🫶 by @tre.morrisette
