From our brother @kamasiwashington - “To all my We’ve started a gofundme page in support of the family of our dear brother Ryan Porter, the link is in my bio. For those that don’t know Ryan was involved in a devastating car accident that resulted in catastrophic injuries that ultimately took his life on May 16, 2026. Beyond the stage and beyond the music, Ryan’s greatest pride was being a father and provider for his family. He loved his two daughters endlessly, spoke about them constantly, and poured his whole heart into their lives. Ryan worked tirelessly to support and care for the people he loved, and his loss leaves an enormous emotional and financial void for his family during this heartbreaking time. We are raising funds to help support Ryan’s family as they navigate this profound loss. I’m so grateful to everyone who is able to give and for those that are not able to contribute financially you can still help by sharing the link to this gofundme page. Much love to you all and thank you so much!”

Our resident DJ Frankie Jax Nomad has been detained by ICE.

🎗️GoFundMe link in bio
https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-baraka-get-home-safely-after-being-detained-by-ice

We are heartbroken by this reality, and we stand with Frankie and everyone living under the threat of detention, displacement, and criminalization.

dublab is contributing to Frankie’s GoFundMe with the generous support from a matching donor.

If you see this and have the ability, we encourage you to donate at any level possible, share the fundraiser, and keep this support moving outward through your networks.

We also want to share some resources that can be helpful:

🎗️Immigrant Legal Resource Center — www.ilrc.org
🎗️CHIRLA (Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights) — https://www.chirla.org
🎗️National Immigration Law Center — www.nilc.org
🎗️Know Your Rights resources — www.wehaverights.us
🎗️Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic:

The people who shape our communities through their histories, perspectives, and creativity are what make life richer, connected, and worth fighting for.

Please keep Frankie and his loved ones in your thoughts, actions, and support right now. by @trenku

Los Angeles–based composer and pianist Brian Hargrove delivered a powerful, immersive live experience live at @thesunrosemusic ✨️ blending jazz, chamber music, and cinematic textures into deeply expressive soundscapes and original compositions.

Joined by a string quartet, harp, and a dynamic rhythm section, the evening moved fluidly between intimacy, improvisation, and sweeping ensemble moments.
