Smith squats then low bar squat
Smith: 5.5 plates x1, 4.5 plates x4, 4 plates x10!
Low bar: 455x1 405x5
First low bar squats in 8 months due to losing mobility in shoulders. I put lock collars on the bar before any plates to create more room for my hands out wide. This paired with using big ass bumper plates placed weights so far out making the bar super whippy as you can see. Would make a good deadlift hack! Weight felt SUPER light but awkward on the negative. Next time I will grab regular 45’s from other area of planet shitness to center/balance weight. After so many safety bar squats low bar felt so good and easy. With wraps I know I’m easily replying 585. Along as I can keep bar from whipping!

Wait till end for worst spotter ever. Felt like I was catching cold of flu. Felt super weak and off. Nothing was going well tbh. I need a bench mat. Couldnt keep and arch in back as I was sliding around on the t-shirt I normally do not wear. I was mis-grooving every rep(wrists weren’t stacked on elbows)..and a craY spotter! Nothing like talking while trying to amrap. Not sure why I’m posting this shit😂 I still showed up I guess

Safety bar squats. 405x8 495x1 and yes they are lil 45’s on the end(video proof included 😂). Pretty easy day- haven’t done any powerlifting other than bench in a while so keeping it easy!
