Meet the cutest escape artist I know: Henri. He’s a 100% Costa Rican good boi. Don’t worry, if he gets out there are other fences so he can’t get hurt by a car or run away and not be safe (also there’s now a carabiner on his kennel). If you want a 1 year old sweet pup who has playful energy he’s your man. Yes he has tons of energy but he settles in on walks, loves attention and looks at you with the sweetest eyes. I just love that he’s so smart too. by @triathlemom

Reminder: it’s ok to like something you’re not good at. Life should not always be serious. The ocean is one of my happy places. So while I live here I’ll try and surf. Why not? If you see me I know I’m not paddling just right, or getting the wave at the right time or even getting it at all. I know there are tons of great instructors and I probably should take more lessons. But for now I love that I can go out for an hour, be humbled by the waves and the kids surfing circles around me, I may not ever catch a wave and still have a great time. That’s my Pura Vida by @triathlemom

One year.

It’s been one year since we left Amelia’s only home she’d ever known, left so many friends and a whole village of support, left first world comforts behind, left a life of routine and ease.

Who knew that one year of new could impact a soul so much, one year of new could teach so much. We miss our friends, our comforts, and our support but we are not done learning and exploring and adventuring here. by @triathlemom

This foster pup should be named Houdini. She has wiggled out of at least 5 collars and harnesses. You see the world can be scary and her instinct is to run away and hide but we finally found a harness in the bin at the shelter that she can’t escape. @ruffwearcostarica @ruffwear please sponsor @halfwayhome_tamarindo and send us some good collars and harnesses so we can keep these dogs safe. Also, please someone adopt this sweet girl. She loves kids and other dogs and snuggles. by @triathlemom
