What an incredible evening celebrating the unveiling of the Leighton House Miniature Model by @mulvanyandrogers 🥂

A true testament to the notion that the intricate details are just as important as the bigger picture.

Congratulations to Susie and Kevin for their exquisite craftsmanship in this stunning replica, and equal recognition must be given to all the talented crafts people involved.

A heartfelt thanks goes to @benpentreath and @bridierhall for inviting Dylan to be a part of such a fantastic evening!

January 1905, and Roger Fry arrives in New York, at a time when the city was prospering and becoming a rapidly growing metropolis. Unbeknownst at the time, but Fry will go on to acquire some of the most prolific pieces of the 19th century for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, most notably Lady Lilith (1867) by Dante Gabriel Rosetti.

@fionamckenziejohnston recalls Fry’s time in New York and work with The Met in enthralling detail, look out for Chapter 3 when you acquire your copy!

The result versus the behind the scenes for one of our photographs for ‘Roger Fry: Bloomsbury and the Invention of Modern Art’, captured by our very own Dylan Thomas 📸

Featured here is the dining room at Charleston Farm House, which features Omega chairs that were designed by Roger Fry. @fionamckenziejohnston explores how Fry not only designed the wall garden of the house, but had involvement in choosing the art and interior design. The house is infamously remembered today for being the frequent meeting place of the Bloomsbury group.

We are delighted to share our new title ‘Old Westbury Gardens: Days of Grace on Long Island’.

Built in 1906 as a gift of love, the house and its gardens form one of the most complete surviving estates of their kind.

It has been a pleasure to work with the team behind Old Westbury Gardens on bringing this story to life.

This richly illustrated and well-researched volume will be published in October 2026.
