It was Christmas, the time of year when many people come together with their families and close friends to celebrate the holiday season. However, last year, Akira Nakai had other plans. He spent a few days in December building not one, but two RAUH-Welt Begriff (RWB) Porsches in Romania.

The Romanian modified and custom car scene has really started to come into its own over the past few years, and 2025 was no exception. From more Romanian-built cars making their way to international events, to a higher standard of builds, and an increase in local events, it was a great year. And what a way to top it off, with having Nakai-san visit.

The number of people who came out to see Nakai-san weave his magic was impressive. Sure, not everyone loves the RWB concept and build methods, but many don’t understand the history and raw nature of these cars.

My craziest Ultrace… yet.

I had been waiting months for this week, and even though it was 37 degrees outside, I just couldn’t let the heat ruin this trip.

Straight from December, I was happy that this time @tobigrafia could come with me and experience what this event is all about. Everything got even better when Ultrace decided to give him a media pass. Words can’t describe how proud I am of him or how much better Tobi made this trip. For once, we had the chance to do exactly what we love while also living together in a small apartment in the center of Gdansk, sometimes working on our projects, sometimes laughing with tears on the balcony. Thank you so, so, so much for coming with me. 🫶🏼

On Sunday, I had the wonderful chance to meet none other than @larry_chen_foto , which meant a lot to me. I also got to meet @adrian_ultrace and @jamespumphrey !

This time, I didn’t come empty-handed and decided to gift them a small piece of the tangible media we make in-house - the Saisho 2025 DVD Box Collectible, which they received with genuine excitement. Thank you so much!

I met lots of old friends, made some new ones, and had an overall wonderful time, no matter the heat.

Now that Ultrace is ticked off the calendar, there’s only one thing left to do this summer: full throttle to @saishofest

Inca nu imi gasesc cuvintele pentru ce a fost weekendul trecut, cum s-a ajuns de la o pagina de Facebook pe care postam pe șustache de pe telefon in ore in liceu despre ce credeam eu ca e interesant despre masini japoneze la ce este @tablejaponeze acum.

Ma tot minteam ca imi scriu un discurs, ca o sa zic ceva misto, discurs d-ala greu si pompos - o prostie - am ales intr-un final sa fac opusul si sa spun exact ce simt si ce am invatat in acest deceniu, cu plusuri si minusuri, in ideea sa spun la microfon, macar odata cand e o ocazie buna, ceva ce ar ajuta oamenii din spatele altor proiecte mai mici si la inceput de drum, indiferent ca e vorba de un simplu hobby de fotografie sau un garaj, atelier de detailing etc.

Pentru piesa de rezistenta, in partea de merch shop, am recreat punctul zero de unde a inceput Table Japoneze: laptopul meu din 2016, echivalent ca performante cu un interfon de bloc, pe langa multe alte amintiri tangibile si surse de inspiratie, ceva ce unii ar putea sa le numeasca “memorabilia”, si Hayabusa lui @mirceaaaa_ parcata opulent direct in receptie.

Multumesc tuturor care au venit, pura voastra prezenta a insemnat enorm pentru noi.

Multumesc in mod special lui @tobigrafia care mereu a avut creativitatea la el cand eu trebuia sa stau ochii in exceluri si mailuri, uneori am impresia ca pur si simplu am fost predestinati sa facem echipa in asa ceva si iti sunt etern recunoscator ca ai aparut in viata mea. 🫂

Multumesc prietenilor de la @monsterenergy si @wraptuned , pentru ca inainte de toate suntem prieteni, impreuna am reusit sa transformam un atelier premium de detailing si colantari in visul meu umed de a avea un garaj Table Japoneze.

Cam atat cu sentimentalismele, ne intoarcem pe circuit, si ii dam blana spre @saishofest , sau mai bine zis Șpaneta? ;)

Am reusit imposibilul: a fost evenimentul de care am putut sa ma bucur cel mai mult. Multumesc tuturor care ati batut atata drum, celor care au venit sa ma ajute, cat si prietenilor care au avut incredere sa ma lase sa ma dau cu masinile lor - 8 la numar in total, absolut insane.

Ambele layouturi s-au dovedit a fi super fun, cu masini de diverse puteri si setupuri, de la E46 2.2 170 cp si Subaru BRZ stock-ish pana la E36 turbo pe Valino 235 square - m-am distrat ca niciodata. Cele 2000 de ore pe Assetto si-au spus cuvantul si am aratat oamenilor ca merg layouturile cu orice.

Legat de safety: ambulanta si cele 5 extinctoare amplasate strategic pe traseu au stat absolut degeaba si nu au fost folosite - exact cum imi place ✅

Legat de seat time: ne-am dat aprox. 9 ore pe zi, deci 18 in total, de dimineata pana seara - destul cat sa am acum steagul Poloniei pe frunte de la soare 🇵🇱

Revenind.
Poate a fost de la faptul ca a fost totul mult mai calm.
Poate lumea s-a obisnuit cu formatul.
Poate m-am obisnuit cu stresul.

Dar pentru prima data se simte ok cu totul.
Vibe, format etc.

Va multumesc din suflet.
Ne vedem la Saisho (sau mai devreme???)
God speed ahead.
