Our sweet little Josie Kay is ONE today!! This precious little bundle of joy made me a Nona, and it’s been WONDERFUL! I love her with all my heart. She is darling, LOVES people, smiles all the time, so funny, laughs when we laugh (oh my gosh it’s the cutest), and brings joy to everyone she meets. SHE SAID YES!! 💍
There’s was no doubt in my mind that she’d say yes, but it’s still a fun thing to say.
ISAAC AND SLOAN ARE ENGAGED!!
I just love these two so much and we loved celebrating with them at a surprise engagement party last night. To know Sloan is to love her, and she just couldn’t stop laughing and shrieking in sheer delight! It was precious. They are blessed with some incredible friends and family.
CONGRATULATIONS to my wonderful son and soon-to-be daughter-in-law!!
Dad I love you both so very much and are so thankful for you! 🥰🥰🥰
Now letting the wedding plans commence! I think I’m going to enjoy being Mother of the Groom this time!😉

My boy is 21 today!!! Eric and I are so proud of Isaac. He’s always making us laugh, he works hard, he’s a great friend, an amazing boyfriend to Sloan, and most importantly, he knows who he is in Christ. Happy Birthday, Isaac! You are LOVED! by @trishakporter

Happy Anniversary, Babe! We’ve done a lot of life together—27 years!! I love being married to you. You’re my best friend and my favorite person to do ministry with, raise a family, binge Netflix, attend sports activities, play cards, go on vacation, and laugh with! (That sentence is so grammatically incorrect, it’s making me cringe…but you know what I mean. 😉)

Happy Father’s Day to some important men in my life.
I’ll start with my favorite husband.

Eric, everything you do is done with passion and intentionality. You are an excellent father to our children. I read the cards they wrote to you, and they each were so thankful for the example you’ve set and for always being there for them. 😍 You are deeply loved and respected by each of us, and our kids are blessed to call you their dad. You’re also a fun and loving Papi!!! Josie’s face LIGHTS UP when she sees you! And you have a great example to follow…

Don, you are a wonderful, loving father to your children, and the most caring Papa to all your grandchildren. One of the men at your church today said that his dad taught him to love people no matter their race, status, etc. and that’s how you are! You love people and care for them no matter what. You are also deeply loved and respected by all of us.

And to my brother, Craig…too bad you don’t have Facebook. But I’d like the Facebook world to know that you are an amazing father and are also deeply loved and respected. My nephews and niece are fabulous humans and you had something to do with that. Sure, it was mostly Kelly, but also you. 😜 I know Dad was super proud of you and still would be today.

Eli, it doesn’t even surprise me that you’re a great dad! You are so loving and caring and patient and present with Josie. She adores you and you are deeply loved and respected by all of us.

Finally, to my dad who now celebrates in heaven… I miss you. Thank you for being a father who regularly told me you loved me. I never questioned your love for me. 💛And you were funny. I miss laughing with you! by @trishakporter

My favorite Christmas gift finally came tonight! I got to be with my favorite husband, and some of my favorite people, and we saw my favorite comedian! Nate Bargatze did not disappoint! My cheeks hurt from laughing so much. And the opening comedians were hilarious, too—Ryan Hamilton, Derrick Stroup, Justin Smith, and another funny guy…I can’t remember his name, but I remember his jokes! by @trishakporter
